My wife and I just returned from a 15 day holiday specifically 'tailored' for us by Citalia, through Thompson. We spent 5 days in Sorrento, 4 in Rome and 5 in Viareggio. Air flights, private car pick-up and first class rail tickets all arranged by 'Citalia and all went without a hitch - a great holiday. About the Hotel Santa... more

Dragging luggages from Metro Station to Hotel was too much. It was more than 1km by walking (20 min with luggages). Front Desk Staff was unfriendly. Room was small but clean. Shower cubicle was incrediblely tiny with only standing space for one! more

Loved it!

Charming, really helpful staff, quiet location with sunny balcony, super clean. Will definitely return. Location is off the beaten path, away from downtown & tourist areas, but accessible by subway and close to nice neighborhood restaurants. more

This was a great hotel. I say "quieter" because no place in Rome can be considered quiet. Rooms have a balcony with table and chairs. We had a great picnic we bought from the nearby grocery on the balcony. Public Transit is very close and frequent. Our only complaint was the AC was still shut off in April and the... more

This hotel was all we expected, lovely and clean, friendly staff very helpful. Simple but good breakfast. The rooms were spotless but a little noisy by the street but after a day out they were great and all you could ask for . Perfect location for metro and traveling to major tourist spots . On the whole a perfect stay and we would... more

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, and we love it. Located outside of the city area. Take bus #90 outside of Termini and get off at the 5th stop right outside of the hotel. Metro stop Bologna was only 5-10 mins walk away. Supermarket is half way between the hotel and the Metro. Easy to find a place... more

This hotel had very helpful, friendly staff. We stayed her for 5 nights so we could go sightseeing. We walked everywhere, and found all attractions within easy reach. For those who don't like walking or find it difficult there is the convenience of the Metro nearby. Continental style breakfast which included cereals, fruit and yogurt. Our room was clean and... more

4 May 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my friend. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the breakfast buffet, which was in deed not overwhelming but to our satisfaction. Our room was not at all small with a balcoon and a comfortable bath. It was clean and bright with a huge TV channel selection and a fridge... more

Recently visited Rome for 4 days and stayed in this hotel booked as part of a package from lastminute.com. Had booked a triple room even though there were just two of us (hoping for more space), but was initially given a very narrow room on the 6th floor with 2 single beds and only an attic window. Asked to be... more
