I spent 3 weeks at Santa Brigida in a single room. Clean, spare, and with a hard bed, but a clean private bathroom, telephone and a/c. Breakfast was adequate, and dinners (request at breakfast) simple, multi-course, tasty and - wine served at request (you get your own bottle!) Library with some books in English. I stayed here whilst on a study course. The guest rooms occupy approximately the front 1/3 of the historic convent. To truly enjoy and appreciate Italy in its state of being, I highly recommend staying in a convent or monastary. Casa Santa Brigida is extraordinary!!!
