First of all. Friendly and nice staff and good cleaning. Breakfast: dont bother to get up in the morning. I was a bit nervous at when I first booked this hotel. When I arrived I was suprised. The receptionists are very helpful and pleasant plus they speak English. The hotel is a bit far away from the centre, but very well connected with the metro to the centre. Note that the metro closes quite early in the evening though... Its not the best or the worst i have ever stayed in. its a long way out to walk, unless ure used to marathons!! 40mins to vatican. But on the other hand it does have a metro stop 5mins away. Wouldn't stay here again, too far out. Breakfast ok. but unconvienent for nipping back to. more

Recently visited Rome and stayed for two nights in hotel Aurelius. Despite seeing some rather unsatifactory reports, we found this hotel to be ok. The rooms were cheap, thank goodness. Breakfast was just okay, cereal and bread. Staff was friendly. The hotel was not a 3 star, more like a one star.
