My daughters and I toured Italy in October and Hotel Sweet Home was our favorite of the many hotels we stayed at. The staff is so helpful and even carried our luggage up because we were just exhausted from our trip. They offer free maps and suggestions about the best way to see Rome. They offer free calls back to... More

The hotel is situated in two floors of old building with another appartments and one more hotel, in 5 minutes walk from Termini (Rome train station). We hadn't any view from the window, because it was close by some banner. Room and bed cover are in red color, that makes it pleasant to be here. Walls are too thin, you... More

Our family just got back from a 2 week European vacation and this was by far the best hotel we had (we stayed at a lot of best western etc.). The room is huge, about 20' by 30' plus the biggest bathroom of any other hotel, it had a bathtub shower combo!. It was newly remodeled (as of Nov. 20).... More

In our recent visit to Rome we stayed the first night at Hotel Sweet Home- Franco was a pleasure!!! We felt very safe there, and he gave us so many tips! The next day we departed for a cruise. After the cruise we decided to stay one additional day in Rome, so we called Franco the day before the cruise... More

This is an easy walk from the rail station. The rooms are attractive, air conditioned and quiet. Good restaurants are on the same block. More

The hotel was suggested by my Italian friend and I booked my room about six weeks before arrival. It is very clean, comfortable, safe and basic hotel. The price is reasonable, the staff is very polite. Especially Franco, the director of the hotel is very friendly, helpful and he speaks English very well. It is only five minutes walk from... More

Hotel “Sweet Home” I’ve made my reservation several months before arrival and had perfect communication with Mr. Franco. The hotel is 2 blocks away from Termini station (about a 5-6 min walk) so this was the perfect location to take the bus. When we checked in, Mr. Franco spoke perfectly English and assisted us in what to see and what... More

Very good location. The hotel is just 5 min walk away from the Termini train station and Metro and it's only a 15 min walk to the Colosseum. Plenty of decent restaurants very close by and they are not that expensive. If like us, you book room only then, some of the cafes near by open early morning for breakfast,... More
