We came here with our Kumuka Tour group. The hotel itself is quite nice. Our room had a queen size bed (rare in Europe!) with a little kitchenette and a nice bathroom. Unfortunately, several people from our tour group, including myself, had things stolen from thier rooms. The hotel would not own up to it. Wouldn't go back there purely... more

Stayed at the hotel with my family (party of 5) while on a Trafalgar tour. The rooms were very spacious with balcony, sofa, small dining table with a couple of chairs, refridgerator, clean, however, tiles around the bathtub could do with some bleach, very pleasant dining area, filling breakfast with a decent selection to choose from and delicious cappuccino. Good... more

We were booked at this hotel through Cosmos (Globus), on a recent two week tour of Italy. Keep in mind this was my first time traveling abroad. The shower was TINY, the elevators were TINY, the beds were TINY, but the rooms were big and most had a kitchenette and a fabuous balcony looking over the city. It's an old... more

Well, firstly we struggled to find the hotel - the map that Hotels.com gave us was very poor (only the major roads on it) and we wandered around the area for a while looking for it. Once we did get there(about 10 mins walk from Cornelia Metro station, nothing major), we found that the hotel was in a nice-ish area,... more

The room needs upgrading and needs more lighting. The bathroom shower door was not aligned so I had to force it back in place. The terrace did not have any furniture, although I liked it that there was a drying rack for clothes. It was also good that there was a digitally-operated safe in the closet. Location was far from... more

September 20th, 2007 I do not agree with negative reviews that I had read. I did appreciated a nice and clean room with a balcony furnished with table & chairs. Nice garden for a quiet walk and relaxing time. Yes 10 euro per person for the swimming pool, do not see any reason for this charge.. The internet was out... more

Like a typical large hotel but very much out of the way. About a 20 minute walk from the metro. The nearest metro supposedly closes at 9pm which is pretty inconvenient although we did manage to get off the stop one night at 9:15pm. The accomodations are typical and our room had a kitchenette type area. The bathroom was large... more

It's a huge hotel with lots of rooms. We survive there, but we will never stay again. First, let me tell you about this hotel before location. The hotel is old and needs upgrading. It is so old, you actually need an actual "key" to open your room (I know it's Europe and supposedly old, but all the other hotels... more

I booked Parco Tirreno after trawling the web for a hotel in Rome that had family rooms AND a pool. Booked via Tripadvisor/ Expedia. I had read good and bad reviews of this hotel so was somewhat apprehensive when we arrived on 24th July. I was pleased to note the hotel was set well back from the busy Via Aurelia,... more

The reception and dining area of this hotel give you the impression it's going to be Really Nice. However rooms are a bit dated, cavernous and dark. Everything worked as it should have done though (apart from the hot water) and they supplied us with an iron and board, which other hotels in Italy did not! This has been converted... more
