I booked this hotel to be near Ciampino Airport...it was incredibly difficult to find, and when I rang up, the front desk couldn't adequately give me directions in English. In saying that, I was of course in Italy and maybe should have been able to speak better Italian, but in an international city such as Rome, it was a bit... more

Don't be fooled by the flashy website this hotel has. The Accomodation I personally thought the hotel itself was fine but not 4 star. It was clean and tidy as you would expect. The only thing that was concerning was the 8ft solid security gates that surrounded the hotel. You have to ask yourself are they trying to keep you... more

Stayed at Petra Hotel with my wife for 4 nights in 05/2006 after reading good reviews on tripadvisor & seduced by the hotel's flashy website. Once we arrived, after a long bus ride from the nearest metro station (Ananina), we were shocked by how different the hotel looked to the website. The hotel is near what appears to be a... more

A bit of a disappointment! The rooms, when we found them (in a seperate building!) were clean but very basic, no frills but were comfortable enough. The staff were helpful enough until one of our group lost his wallet. The staff whose english was limited, become very unhelpful, refusing to contact the police direct and advising us to go to... more

We just came back from our 5 days trip in Rome. We were a bit dissapointed by the hotel as we were expecting what was on the pictures of the website. The swimming pool was closed (despite the nice weather) and moldy and tennis course too. The rooms needs a bit of refurb. Also the staff weren`t speaking a good... more

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The outside of the hotel seemed nice. The interior and cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. As the hotel was on the outer part of Rome hardly anyone knew how to speak English - but at least tried to be a bit helpful. The... more

I stayed here just because I arrived in Rome's Ciampino late at night and this was close to the airport. The area was rough and the hotel was not clean and modern as advertised on their website. I was not looking for charm but this place did not even offer a clean and comfortable room to pass the night. more

We recently stayed at this hotel and found hardly anyone speaks english and has no intrest in doing so! The pool is dirty and the ground floor blinds led us to believe that crime was pretty high there. The kitchen staff have no manners as we were asked too move tables half way through breakfast!!! St Peters is a 15... more
