Needed hotel for 12 hours pending flight to Tokyo. Booking agent at airport arranged this "4*" hotel for Euro130. Hotel old and tired and management obviously lacking any concern about maintainence (own footpath had missing cobbles and was full of litter). In fact the whole area was a haven for grafitti and litter. Free transport to airport only saving grace... more

This hotel is actually not located in the city of Rome rather in Ostia which is very close to the airport. The airport is large and lacks character but we were not there for the ambiance. Seems they have flight crews and people who missed flights. There is a regular shuttle to Fiumicino Airport which makes this hotel a good... more

We stayed here only one night, but one night is more than enough. At first glance, the lobby appears fine. We got up to our rooms (2) and neither had air conditioning and both stank (apparently they sprayed for bugs). There was black mold on the walls, the carpets were buckled and worn and the walls will worn. They sent... more

For 170 Euros a night for a 4 Star Hotel, I expected a little more: like clean carpet, air conditioning that worked, and lighting that actually lit up the room. From the looks of the lobby, I was anticipating a great stay! Marble floors, clean & well kept. But our room on the 1st floor was horrible! Could not caution... more

We too were sent to our doom by Alitalia after missing our connecting flight. After struggling to find the shuttle bus we were forced to pay 22 euros to be taken to this dump. After being advised we were not going to be offered breakfast we decided it was best to take advantage of the dinner being offered. All we can say is... more

This establishment is a total rip off and is so poorly organized it could be laughable if it weren't the last or first stop for most people when traveling to Italy. Once you are there you are too tired to find a new place and even if you want to it is nearly impossible to make a local phone call.... more

I expected to find a real dump based on the previous reviews I've read. I don't normally write them, but I feel compelled to counter some of the negative reviews since my experience was so contrary. I don't doubt the validity of other reviewers, I simply want to give any potential guests another side of the story. Anyhow, I had... more

If you miss your flight with Alitalia in Rome you will be sent here. It is one of the circles of Hell that Dante discribes. First we miss our flight, then we are shuttled to this creepy dump, fed with left over barely warm and unidentifieable food, told we are to have breakfast but are blessed with them refusing to... more

There is no dirt worse than human filth. This hotel has a collection of human filth that I have not seen since I was in the slums of Calcutta in 1998. A cleaning product has not seen the Airport Palace in many years. This is absolutely the most disgusting building I have ever been in. The carpet is stickier than... more

Terrible rooms. Very unclean. After seeing the rooms we debated staying in the airport overnight. Since the TV's didn't work we had cockroach races in the hallway (I am not kidding!). We accidently got off on the wrong floor and felt as if we stepped into an insane asylum. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I... more
