We took a 2 week vacation this summer to Venice, Florence, with our final destination in Rome. Since we were traveling by train it was convienent to have our hotels located near the train stations. We chose Hotel Magic as our Rome hotel based on a recommendation from Rick Steve's Italy Travel Guide. We found the accomendations very shabby as... more

Hi all!Just got back from a weeken in rome (september 2003). Spent 3 nights in hotel magic. a few notes: 1) the hotel is on the 3rd floor. a lot of stairs to go, after a long day of sightseeing. 2) the area is quite noisy. street cleaner trucks, garbage collectors, etc. are quite probable to make their existance present... more
