First a quick apology for the wrong date of travel. I find that these negative posts get put in the way back at times and I dont know if it the remark or date of travel. My travel was 2008. My trip plans for my daughter and myself was focused on Human Culture. I had self planned an Around the... more

This particular guest submitted a very similar review back in 2008 for a stay that occurred in 2007, and has somehow managed to submit it again as if it were a recent stay. I do not understand why this person harbors such a grudge that she has found it necessary almost two years later to submit the review again. The...

I've been several times at the Beehive, always in the dorms, and in my humble opinion this is the best hostel in Rome. The facilities are really clean and there are several bathrooms. The bar and organic resturant are a valuable thing if you are tired and want something delicious to eat without exiting the hostel! Staff could be a... more

The Beehive was a perfect place for us to finish off the last 2 weeks of our honeymoon! It was refreshing that the staff speaks fluent english, as we were getting a little worn out using our shaky italian in the less touristy areas. We stayed in both the Beehive inn and Acacia. Both were so very clean and comfortable.... more

Acacia is spacious and clean. We were strategic about hours in the apartment and rarely had conficts in the bathroom or kitchen. The computer was available when we wanted it and the other guests were repectful about everything. We met a couple from France who were a joy to share cheese and wine with before leaving for dinner. The location... more

We stayed at the Beehive over a weekend in early June, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, and we were immediately made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. The room itself was great, with an opening window and ceiling fan, and the king size bed was very comfortable! The shared bathrooms were always clean,... more

Through the Beehive Hostel, we stayed in the Acacia apartments which truly enhanced our great time in Rome. Situated just a few blocks away from the hostel itself and one block away from the train station, many frequented sites (Coliseum, Villa Borghese, for example) are a short walk, or a train stop or two away. The little niceties of handmade... more

We stayed in the Beehive in May and in the Acacia apartment in June. Both are located near the train station but on opposite sides.Although the accommodation is a bit away from the main sights the underground will have you there in minutes. The Beehive:makes a good first impression with a lovely little private garden out front that makes for... more

The double room we got was very spacious and had a fan and a sink. Everything was clean and the cafe is wonderful (all vegetarian, there are suggested prices but you pay whatever you feel your meal was worth!) You can't check in before the rooms have been cleaned but you can leave your luggage and go out wandering. They... more

I stayed at the Beehive's Acacia aparment for three nights. This is several blocks from the Beehive Hotel and I can't comment on the hotel itself. However, staying in the apartment was great. Only a few blocks from Termini Station made getting around the city very quick and easy. There is a small store next door for basics- water, fruit,... more

Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who then showed us to our double room. It was bright, fresh & comfortable. The bathroom here is communal but don't worry it's v.clean & there is a sink in the bedroom. They also have internet access available. The Beehive is a short 5 minute walk from Termini station which also... more
