We stayed at this hotel in November 2009. The hotel itself is nice enough and it is in a great location. The rooms are very small though and the cistern for the bathroom in the room next door was right next to the bedhead in our room. The result being that everytime the occupants of the room next door used... more

First the good things about the Cosmopolita, it is quite central and the bar area is relatively well stocked and comfortable. That's it! We were put in the smallest room I have ever had the misfortune to stay in and our friend's room was even smaller! The rooms were so small you could not open the door fully as it... more

The best thing about this hotel is it's location which is wonderful. Rome is easy to tour on foot and even easier if with the Cosmopolita as a base since you can pop back to use the bathroom or put your feet up between sights. There are numerous restuarants within a few minute's walk and all the major sights are... more

Hotels in Rome are difficult. It's such a fantastic city and often the buildings do not lend themselves to being hotels. Rooms are squeezed here and there. This hotel is ok, but a little soul-less. The room I had was adequate. Big bed, clean if fairly small bathroom, confusing air-conditioning. I am increasingly annoyed by astronomical internet charges, especially when... more

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our 12 day honeymoon. Location was fabulous - easy walking distance to all of the major sites, good food and several ATM choices are nearby; bus stop is just around the corner; it is also less than 10 minutes from the train station which equals a cheap... more

This is truly the first time I've ever written a review of a hotel, but I wanted to share my experience I had with the Hotel Cosmopolita. As most know, finding a decent hotel in Rome is hit or miss. I relied on others' reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor and they were right! This is a great hotel!!... more

Great location midway between Trevi and Colosseo. Breakfasts were delicious and Max, at the front desk, was very helpful (some of the other front desk staff, however, were a little stuffy). Max's recommendation to eat at nearby Ristorante Santa Cristina was spot on ... a delightful, small place with great food. Only negative was noisy Nags Head Scottish pub across... more

This hotel lives up to all the positive reviews we had read before deciding to stay here. Unique, clean, great location, beautiful recently renovated bathroom, friendly staff, tasty breakfast with excellent cappuccino machine, etc. We stayed in room 410, which was a superior double with very high ceiling and an internal courtyard view of nearby church cupolas and Victor Emmanuel... more

This hotel had absolutely everything it claimed. From a perfectly central location visitors can get to all parts of Rome which are equal distances from the hotel. The staff are absolutely focussed on providing a first class service whilst being friendly and totally accomodating. The staff are like perfect policemen always around when you need them but otherwise inconspicuous. A... more
