This hotel was advertised as close to the airports and 20 minutes' drive from the Centre of Rome. It may be a 20 minute drive but on public transport it took about an hour and a half each way including waiting etc. You need to take a shuttlebus (which you have to book in advance) to the local mainline station,... more

Found the hotel staff very helpful although it is outside centre of Rome it's only 20 minutes by train to St Peters Square and the metro is very good if you need taxi from Rome to hotel it should cost €25.00 at the most but don't ask for fixed price we were charged €40.00 when we asked for fixed price.... more

I have just returned from Rome and stayed at the Prime Hotel. It was a bit far out of the City but once you got the hang of the metros, it was easy. When we arrived at Ciampino Airport, there were agents saying book this taxi, hire this bus etc, but we went to the travel kiosk and booked the... more

This hotel was completely terrible. It is located in about 50 kilometers away from FCO airport, and 30 kilometers away from the center of Rome. I took a taxi from the airport and it cost 48 euro. Hotel staffs were unpleasant to me, and I felt very bad. The room was very small and no buthtub. The bathroom was separated... more

Our first night here was the night before the tour. They had overbooked and had provided us a room in a much nicer hotel, which was fine. Our second night, with our tour, the hostess was rude to us. I haven't had anyone else make fun of me for trying to speak Italian besides the woman at this hotel. The... more

Four of us signed up for a european destinations tour and we regrettably did not map this hotel out. It is very misleading that this hotel is "in Rome" We actually have photos that we took from the taxi saying that we were no longer in Rome and had signs heading towards Florence, I'm not kidding. It was actually the... more

Our Party consisted of 8 rugby players over for the Italy V Ireland 6 nations game. On our arrival the manager rushed out to stop us unloading the minibus and told that due to an unforseeable event our rooms were not going to be available. He then informed that we would be happy with the alternative he had selected for... more

Roma Domina Cassia: This hotel is very nice and clean. The workers were great. However, it is WAY too far from the center of Rome. Unless you do want to get away from the center, I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. The room and bathroom was very clean and overall, a good hotel. more

Positives first: the hotel is clean, the facilities are modern. The bathrooms have beautiful marble and nice fluffy towels. The breakfast is good. Negatives: it shouldn't be considered as in "Rome". We left our central hotel to go there to attend a wedding nearby, it took nearly 1.5 hours from Termini station to get metro, then train and then taxi.... more

I stayed for 4 nights in May of 2005. Booked thru Expedia and photos are realistic. Very nice and clean rooms, bathroom, good AC. Facility in general is well-maintained. Breakfast buffet was excellent and very complete (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). Hotel staff was very nice and always willing to help. Although far from Rome, hotel offers a free shuttle to nearest... more
