The price for a room is very good by Rome standards and you get a very clean hotel with all the facilities a tourist needs. We went to Hotel Orlanda for 5 days in May 2005. The location is excellent, very close to Termini metro and bus station which is great when you come to your hotel for a shower before eating and want to go to Trastevere for exemple! Thanks to Tripadvisor, after much research we selected the Hotel Orlanda for a four night stay in Rome. It was a very warm late June 2004 and for starters the Orlanda had excellent air-conditioning in the rooms! Quite a relief after a day on the town. What a seedy hotel, location and unfriendly staff. Don't stay in this area of Rome (the few streets near Termini station). It is full of litter, gypseys and vagrants. Nice place to stay. The only thing I could complain about was the size of the shower. Other than that this hotel was great. Very close to the Termini and within walking distance of many attractions.
