Upon arrival at this beautiful hotel I was greeted with a welcome map and shown where to get the metro and bus from the hotel (the metro station is a 2 min walk, I would advise you to use the metro to get around Rome as its the easiest and cheapest method) and was advised which tours to go on... more

I travel frequently outside the US. I was attending a business meeting in Rome and I decided to come a few days early to sight see. The acccommodations very nice. My room was a little small. I stayed in room 106. The room was clean and nicely presented. From some of the pictures I have seen on other websites, the... more

1 st Dec 2007. Just returned from a 5 day, 4 night break in Rome. The Hotel Patrizi is in an ideal location just outside the city walls in an area which contains a large number of Embassies and Italian Goverment Buildings. Very handy for the metro - Policlinico or 40 minute easy walk to the centre of Rome. Hotel... more

We stayed at Villa Patrizi for 4 nights. I had some reservations after reading some of the reviews here but was pleasantly surprised, we arrived several hours earlier than expected and they were able to accommodate us even though the hotel was solidly booked. I can not speak highly enough about the staff at this hotel. This was the tail... more

We had a lovely room with a pleasant balcony, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean although rooms are small. The bathroom was tiny but perfectly functional and the shower was good. There is no bath - shower only, although this did not concern us. Breakfast is a basic continental selection but what more do you require when on holiday? Staff spoke... more

We finished our 2 week stay in Italy with 3 nights at Patrizi. First, the good: The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the subway, & even closer to the trolley and the room and hotel was clean and in a quiet part of the city with plenty of parking near the hotel. Now for the bad: The... more

Well what can I say about this hotel, if I can call it one. First of all they said they only had one double room available even though we had booked 2 and had documentation to prove it. It was only when I threatened to ring my travel agent that they suddenly had another room (which turned out to be... more

i have just returned from rome. I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. I was given the smallest room(room 201) they had available. The bathroom is smaller than my walk in closet at home. the shower handle for hot water was missing. There is barely any light in the room and the remote for the television did not work.... more

The decor is the best thing I could say about this Hotel. The room allocated was extremely small, only allowing us to get into one side of the bed! And when your head can touch the wall when you need to sit on the WC, then that indicates small as far as I'm concerned. All but one of the reception... more

On arriving to Italy I stayed in another hotel in Rome on via National then I travelled around Italy and stayed here for one night before I flew home. The first Rome hotel was great and in comparison I was disappointed with the Villa Patrizi Hotel. I was put in a room on the ground floor beside reception with a... more
