A taxi to this hotel from Leonardo airport was 45 euros. A train to Termini station in Rome and subway to Cornelia would have cost 13 euros per person but at night don't do it as you won't find the hotel easily and you will be scared when you get off the subway and try to make the ten minute... more

Our faces began to drop as we got closer in the Taxi to the Hotel, graffiti increased, buildings started to have bars on the windows appear. Once in side the Hotel we felt like we had stepped into a time warp and had gone back to the 1970's, not sure anything has been done to the place since then, although... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as it was part of a tour package. The room was very basic and sure the bathroom was a little run down. Breakfast was OK (breads and some cheese& ham). Internet is not free; I think it was 2 Euros per half an hour or more. There is a bar in the... more

Was airmiles recommended so went for it on a 3 day stay. Had a stressful journey, but staff were friendly and helpful so got us into a better holiday mood! Clean rooms, comfy beds and a good shower. Breakfast was cereal, pastries, bread with ham and cheese and a selection of jams and teas etc. Nothing special really but fine... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. It was located close to the metro station about 10 min away on foot. Very quiet place , not a luxury one but it was worth its money. Nice breakfast and helpful people at reception. The closest metro station is about 20 min from rome's central station. At night you can return... more

I would not recomment this hotel to anybody. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Rome and were expecting 4 star but it was not anywhere near a 4 star. We found mould in the bathroom, along with plaster falling off the walls and the floor was extremely dirty. There was building works going on above on the... more

I have just returned from 3 nights in Rome staying at the Hotel Marc Aurelio. I feel that other reviews posted on this site do not do the hotel justice, or maybe the hotel has improved greatly since they were written. To be fair, the hotel is not in the centre of Rome. It is about a 20 minute journey,... more

This hotel stated that they are situated near to the Vatican city, this is not so, it is a 10-15min walk from the hotel to Via Boccea where the number 46 bus stops, a three day Roma pass bus ticket can be bought across the road from the hotel for 11euros, the bus service is very good. Once you arrive... more

The Hotel is situated in a very calm neighbourhood in the west of Rome, about 500 meters from Cornelia Metro Station. It is definetely NOT close to St.Peter as stated on the homepage, but bus and metro connections are good and frequent. Our double room was relatively newly decorated and clean. There were traces of mould in the bathroom due... more

Fairly speaking, it is confortable enough (I stayed there for 5 nights). Most staffs are nice. I got a large two-bed room although I booked a single one. The room is very clean. This hotel is a bit old, the air condition works but a bit noisy, and the room has poor sound insulation between adjacent rooms. The breakfast is... more
