The Hotel Stella is a terrible place to stay. I have travelled a lot and like to think I am open-minded. However, I really feel the owners don't deserve to have customers. This is for the following reasons: - I tried to have a shower at different times of day and always the water was cold (and this was in... more

I arrived at 9.30pm as a single woman to be told that my booking was not made and I spent 45 minutes insisting that the hotel find me a room. I had paperwork to proove I had booked but they insisted I hadn't and were going to leave me to wander Rome to find a hotel. They were rude and... more

We stayed here on our last 2 nights in Rome after spending several weeks traveling. The staff weren't that friendly. The room was nice size but the bed was so hard and if we wanted the a/c had to pay extra. We were right above a pub so if you wanted to be cool you had to have the window... more

Really nice hotel, spotless clean, refresh, bathroom was really clean and restored, the room 208 has a perfect view of palms and trees, not easy to find at Europe and in a small hotel. Excellent location in the correct side from Roma Termini Station, you can choose the Metro for all Major atractions, even you can walk. Nice and not... more

The WC in our room would not flush so we told reception. They said it DID work but needed pushing several times. As it was jammed there was no way it could be pressed anyway. As we still couldn't use it we asked for a different room but were told the hotel was full so that was impossible. We stood... more

We have just returned from Rome after having a weekend break. We flew into Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) airport, from here it is easy to catch the Leonardo Express train to the Central Termini Station in Rome. Cost of tickets are 11 euro each way and can be purchased from ticket stalls by the platform. Once you have your ticket... more

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stella, simple but clean room with a good shower. Was very cold in the room especially at night, have to ask for the controls for the heating and then they are tempremental! Very good location to the station and historic attractions, staff spoke very good english and were very polite and accomodating. Breakfast was fine... more
