the strength of this hotel is the location. An easy walk to the colosseum and Palantine Hill. About 10 minutes walk to Piazza Venezia, 15 min to Trevi Fountain. Very comfortable accommodations. It is on one floor of a building in a very busy area....so it is a bit non traditional if you are thinking of a US B &... More

In our recent trip to Italy, we stayed in 4 different hotels including two in Rome. Of all of them, carefully selected based on TripAdvisor reviews, this was by far the best. It is located right in the centre of the action, on Via Cavour, around the corner from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, and very close to two... More

The staff are fantastic, with Francesco and Rossana being among the most helpful, cheerful and professional that we have met. The guest lounge is bright and welcoming. BUT in terms of quality of rooms this hotel is "marking time". Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. However, I did not enjoy peeling wallpaper, mouldy ceilings and cracked and... More

When my travel agent showed me the web site for this hotel, I loved all of the rooms I saw & looked forward to a bit of grace and luxury in Rome. I did not get one of those rooms that is pictured on the web site. My room overlooked some noisy bars and the decor and size was more... More

Very nicely decorated with terracotta tiles and beautiful thick fabrics as well as Etro products in the bathroom (love the tissue box, now if only I could get a scarf in their signature Kashmir pattern) it is not the super-convenient location near the Imperial Roman Forum but the service at Caesar House that makes it really live up to its... We normally stay in larger hotels, so I was a little leery of staying in such a small establishment but it worked out very well. The hotel is the 2nd floor of the building. It’s a little disconcerting when you first arrive, as you have to buzz the intercom to be let in the large wooden door to the building.... More

Caesar House is within walking distance of the Colosseum and Forum. This is not a typical hotel and there is not much signage out front so it is confusing when you arrive. You enter what looks like a dark garage and take an elevator to the second floor where the hotel lobby is located. We found our room to be... More

We recently stayed in 9 different hotels in Italy/Croatia and this was one of the best. Very helpful and friendly staff that went out of their way to be accomodating for us. Convenient location, maybe 10 minutes to walk to the colosseum, 15/20 minute walk to Termini. It got a little loud some nights with the pub behind the hotel,... More

The problem with this place is its location. Fine, if you wish to spend your time at the Coliseum and the Forum, which are both within a five minute walk. However, Via Cavour is one of Rome's busiest thoroughfares and not a particularly pleasant one. All of the accommodation is on an upper floor and is more like serviced rooms... More

We chose this small Hotel based on the location, near the Coliseum. The staff was very helpful with our daily sightseeing plans and resturant recommendations. Room was very nice with breakfast served every morning to our room. I would highly recommend staying here when in Rome.
