This property included all the essentials of a three star property. It was well located so easy walking distance to all sights. The staff was very friendly and there were some good value restaurants nearby. The lobby was very nice, especially for a three star. Rooms are fairly basic but have a classic style to them. I was very pleased... more

The hotel is in a great location to the train station and all the sights of Rome, the metro stop is very close by so its easy to get around the city. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and even let us use the lounge area while we waited for a late train, which was perfect as they... more

Stayed in windrose hotel for 4 nites with my partner and 3 year old daughter. All the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Reception staff have very good english. The rooms were adequate for our needs and the hotel is 5 mins walk from the termini station, approx 15 mins walk central rome. The area has everything... more

The hotel is situated well, newt to the Termini station. The hotel has seen it´s better days: it´s a little shabby, and the clerks could speak a better english. The breakfast is just a dry roll, a brioche, marmalade, butter and coffee and some cornflakes (but the milk was seen it´s better days), so you might want to buy some... more

Our family stayed here for four nights in June and found it to be clean and good value. We booked a family room and found it to be well appointed and bigger than we expected and a welcome relief after the overnight train from Paris. Located just a few minutes easy walk from Termini, the area is relatively safe though... more

Very nice hotel, a great value for money. We had a very nice room with a large bathroom. The hotel is very posh for the price you have to pay and the services are also very good. The reception was helpfull and also suggested lots of things to see in rome. It was very clean and situated 250 meters from... more

Pros - excellent location (not even a 5 min walk from the Termini), clean room, excellent service, free Wi-Fi internet access, very close to many trattorias and ristorantes Cons - room is very small, washroom is small and shower is even smaller (a large person could not bathe here) more

We stayed twice in May because we needed to be close to the station for travel to Venice and back to connect with a cruise. It was only an easy 10 minute walk even for 2 aged travellers with 3 suitcases! Our rooms were a bit small but quite adequate, and they were very quiet. There is a lift. The... more

The hotel has a great location, close to the Termini (which is the hub for all trains and both metro lines) and also really close to numberous internet cafes ($1.50 to $2.00 euro per hour and $0.10 a minute dialing to North America) and also a grocery store just down the road is a real plus. The rooms are ok,... more

We stayed at Windrose Hotel for five nights at the end of April 2008. We have mixed feelings about it. Yes, it is within close proximity to Termini (about 5-8 minute walk) and in a relatively quiet street. There are lots of facilities close by including internet cafes, a laundry just two streets away, a supermarket 100 metres down the... more
