Clean bathroom and linens but carpet was filthy. One mirror (bathroom). Lobby looks fine but this hotel is a dump! more

WE have just returned from a lovely week in Rome, to be fair when we booked the hotel we were struggling for accommodation and all reviews read were not favourable. Clean towels were not available unless asked for, rubbish bins were emptied and left in the room. the shower has no curtain and flooded the floor. could have been cleaner.... more

I have just got back from spending 4 nights in Rome at thia hotel. First impressions wern't bad as the lobby area was quite quaint. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to find the place, our room was not ready. We arrived at 12.30pm! We then had to put our cases in the dining area (which everybody does... more

We were at Hotel Acropoli for one week in the last week of April. It was a schooltrip. We were with 5 persons and we had the largest room. Others, whit 4 persons, slept on a 2-persons room!!!! In the bathroom there was missing a shower-curtain, towels and the water is flooding. The most of the beds were ok, and... more

DONT GO THERE!! This is the worst hotel where I stayed worldwide. Walls are yellow of oldness, beds are for kids. During my stay I had NO HOT WATER !!!!! and sometimes no water and electricity at all. Perhaps it is a not so expensive hotel but the price dont fit with the rooms. AVOID THIS HOTEL!! more

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I stayed in while in Italy. For the price we paid, "we did not get what we paid for". The lobby area is very deceiving as to how the rooms are really like. I do not recommend this hotel at all. more

Given the reviews I read on Hotel Acropoli here before I went there I was not sure what to expect on arrival. I was afraid I would find a noisy and dirty hotel. Luckily I had a good time in this hotel. There was indeed a number of large groups of students or schoolkids when we were there. It was... more

This is one of the cheapest hotels in Rome, so we didn't expect much, but it was great. It is very very close to Termini station and very close to the Old Centre, with the Colloseum etc. Every night we walked in about 20 minutes to the Trevi fountain and it was very safe. The hotel staff is very friendly... more

I stayed here in Aug 04, having booked ahead. As a single female traveller, I requested an all-female dorm. When I got there I discovered that it was mixed, although the only guys left that day - the Hotel staff tried to justify putting me in there, by stating that they wouldn't put anyone else in there ... lo' and... more

This hotel is perfectly situated near Railwaystation Termini, on the "right" side of all the main attractions. My wife, 2 children and I stayed in Acropoli for 3 nights in Oct. 2004. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a 2 star hotel so the beds, bathroom, breakfast etc. are basic. But what do you expect when you pay 390... more
