The hostel was okay, but I would definitely rather stay somewhere else... There wasn't too much in the area other than Termini station which was convenient. The sheets were clean but hard, the pillows were basically non-existent, the comforters were stained, the beds creaked. The prices at this hostel are the average as in other hostels in Rome, so book on time and stay somewhere else. We stayed there because we didn't have other option, we got to Rome late at night without hostel reservation, we walked and walked and walked without luck, so M&J was the only one with beds available, no wonder... more

Really terrible, since we got there, the staff were really horrible to us. All the "included stuff", is awfull. The breakfast was the worst breakfast we´ve seen in a hostel, the rooms downstairs are new, but they ent us to an upper room, they were really dirty and creapy old. Seriously, if there are so many bad reviews...you know there is truth to them. The good: the sheets are clean and white and starchy. The bad: Everything else. It is always a bad idea to arrive in a large city with out accommodation booked - then accept the first place you walk into that has beds available, just becuase you are tired, cranky and lugging a realy heavy back pack!
