We liked this hotel very much. It was a great value for what we paid, which was around $140 per night. Hotel is reasonably new, our bed was very large, everything was clean, breakfast buffett was very good. It is not really close to downtown but, not matter where you stay in Rome, you will be some distance away from... more

Safe clean hotel with decent breakfast buffet and close to transportation. Not a touristy neighborhood, which we preferred. Close enough to ancient Rome that my husband jogged daily on the old tracks of the Circus Maximus. A short bus or subway ride to spanish steps, for example. Decent restaurants in the area, great sandwich shop at bottom of hill, end... more

We had an overnight stay here as part of an escorted tour and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The rooms were quite spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast area was basic but quite adequate. I would stay here again. more

My friends and I were only passing through Rome, and stayed one night at this hotel. It was a typical hotel-nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. If you are wanting to see the sights of Rome I would not advise staying here. It is not close to any of the big attractions and it is not very close... more

As an establishment, this is what you might expect in a Holiday Inn Express in Europe, except for the neighborhood. The building is very utilitarian, clean and compact, and would fit business travelers quite well, except that it really is a bit out of the way as I see it. It is near a train station, which comes in handy... more

My fiance and I found this little gem of a place only stations away from the main hub of Rome. As with most of our accommodation bookings these days, we purchased the Holiday Inn Express online. We found this place to be quite adequate. It was clean, neat, the staff were fairly helpful (except the included buffet Continental breakfast should´ve... more

Location was ok. Short walk to train into city, but for the price we couldn't beat it! Very clean and modern. The staff was wonderful!!! Although my trip was years ago, Daniel and Simone will always be remembered for their helpfulness and insight! more

Location is a mixed-use modest area outside the old city walls. Convenient bus a block away goes right by Colosseum; subway just a bit further away. What we saved on a downtown location was huge compared to the modest transport cost. Rooms were small but clean. Our wheelchair accessible room met all our needs. Breakfast was modest, and the wastage... more

The hotel was in a reasonable location if you don't mind catching public transport (6 stops on the metro to Trevvi Fountain). Public transport is cheap and frequent so the location proved to be fine. The service however left a lot to be desired. Many of the staff were blunt bordering on rude. Compared to other Holiday Inn Express I... more
