This was easily the nicest hotel we stayed in during out 10-day swing through Italy. The rooms were huge by European standards (and fairly standardly spacious by American as well). The bathroom was first rate - I could have lived in our tub, and the shower was excellent. One of the nicest amenities were the soundproofed blackout shades on the... More

We will stay nowhere else in Rome. This intimate, modern, well appointed, clean, boutique hotel has an incredibly accommodating staff, a great restaurant, and a tremendous location. It is worth every cent you pay. The rooms are amazing, large and accommodating, and the bathrooms are some of best in Europe. If you ask for a room in front, you will... More

We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. Ideal location between the Roman Forum and the Colosseum The staff is friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the Circus restaurant offers not only a wonderful menu, but also excellent views of many historic sites and the Tiber. More

This is a very quaint boutique hotel that is very modern and clean. Staff is minimal, but very helpful. I would recommend this hotel as this is an excellent location and you can walk to the ruins, which is a must see. They also have a nice gym downstairs to use. The only issue I had is that the hotel... More

Checkin was easy, especially when the taxi drove onto the sidewalk to unload us. A busstop outside makes public transport convenient. It takes a minute to get to Piazza Venezia and service is very frequent. Lobby, breakfast area, and indoor patio are very relaxing. There are several elevators at different areas, so once your room is located, its only a... More

Stayed for a four day break in a junior suite. This was our third stay here and standards appear not to have slipped. Very comfortable room on the fourth floor-slightly quieter than lower down and equipped with effective individually controlled air conditioning. Just as well as the weather was unseasonably warm in early December, Pristine housekeeping. Spacious room by Italian... More

Although a little expensive, the hotel is worth its money. All our booking requests were taken into account by the hotel management. We stayed 5 nights at the hotel and felt at home. Our room had good views and was extremely quiet. The hotel is situated at 2 minutes walking from the Foro Romano and has a bus stop just... More

Hotel Fortyseven exceeded our expectations. Fantastic location, lovely cheerful staff, Claudia and her colleagues on reception were great and very welcoming. Room gorgeous, lovely views and quiet thanks to double-glazing and shutters. Bed very comfortable, bathroom so modern and clean. Buffet breakfast fresh and plentiful, staff so helpful. Coffee maker in room great too. Didn't eat at rooftop restaurant but... More
