We staid 4 days in Rome at Club House Hotel last week. The hotel is close to Cornelia subway station and in a verry quiet neighborhood. Excellent value for price, and helpful staff, small but clean and comfortable rooms. I'm planning another visit and will surely stay at the same hotel.

The staff was friendly and helped us with all the questions. Safe box in the room. Good canteen with some cakes, ham and cheese, tea/coffee machine, but there wasn't any fruit except peach and stewed fruit. My son visited this hotel summer of 2012 for his senior trip, and on the last night of their stay the hotel housekeeping staff stole several items from the students rooms, including cameras and ipods--neither the hotel or tour company would help us get any satisfaction on this theft. Stay away from this hotel!!!

Small hotel in the Aurelio neighborhood, away from the tourist points but near enough from the subway which takes you everywhere. Good room, with a small terrace, although there are residencial buildings right next door. Nice breakfast. WiFi only in the lobby. Curteous employees. Good price x benefits.

Tried 3 times to get the staff to fix the air conditioning in our room to no avail. given it was 38 outside we could have done with it. The bathroom was in need of updating, the hotel was clean and affordable (groupon) maybe why we didn't get the functioning room!
