First impressions were not great. Room was a good size but quite basic with a big stain on the ceiling. Bathroom was very good. Lot of steps to climb to it though. But after a while it grew on us and we absolutely loved it. Location is superb, it was great to have breakfast while watching the world go by.... more

zero insulation-it was the draftiest, coldest room ever. I'm now sick over it. They moved us to a room 4 blocks away from where I rented. NO PHONE!!!! Il Covo is in a great location (5 mins from Colosseum), in a great little neighborhood with gelatterias, bars and restaurants.
