very shabby room, worst "hotel" i've ever stayed in.only good thing was the nice staff. arrived at door of this place and couldn't get in, then a resident of the apartment block let us in and brought us up to the 3rd floor to the hotel reception, the girl showed us to the room and u should have seen our... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night after staying in Orvieto for business for one week. The room was ok; it was large enough for one person, but the condition of the walls was very bad, though bearable. The bathroom which was shared among 5 rooms was very tiny, and the shower room was barely big enough to squeeze... more

The one room was sparse, very old and the blinds did not work, one power point that worked, no air cond, tiny shared bathroom. Breakfast was warm bread rolls and jam. We were pleased with the staff and the hotel was certainly central Rome, with ease of transport and close to all shops, all transport and attractions. We did not... more

What an experience ! It says a 2* hotel but I would of said 1* . You have to go up an old lift to the 3rd floor. The room was very very basic and you have to share a bathroom. The breakfast was a roll with butter and some sweet juice. I would definately not stay here again, but... more

he location was very good. However, the rooms desperately need decorating - doesn't look like it's been done since WW2. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, doors flakey and splitting, horse hair coming out of the base of the bed which was held together with sellotape. Booked en-suite but found only a shower and sink, the toilet was down the hall.... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Oct. Rate was €110 per night which is an ok price for Rome. The woman at "reception" had no english so we got by with the little Italian we had. We had booked a room with a bathroom and found that while we had a shower and sink in our room... more

Perfect price / quality balance! + Location: 2 minutes walk from piazza Reppublica (metro), 7 minutes walk from Termini, 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum + Staff: very friendly: separate thanks to Alesandro, who helped us open the door then we broke the key, to Maria who served us breakfast in room in half an hour after the breakfast was... more

2 star rating is not what you expect in the uk. The bathroom and toilet was outside through balcony door. No carpets or rugs on the floor just cracked tiles. The second room was so dirty that when a patch of wall[aper was tested it left a huge white circle. Had to eat cornflakes out of small coffee cup. The... more

This must rate as the worst "hotel" in which I have ever had the misfortune to stay. The room was disgusting with broken lamps and torn wallpaper hanging from the walls. The bathroom was equally gloomy and dirty and the shower produced no hot water. At 115 Euros per night I would have expected much better but on complaining to... more

We stayed at this hotel at the height of tourist season when all the hotels in Rome seemed to have hiked their prices well above 100 Euros. We paid 105 Euros (a DEAL, right?) for a room with a bathroom inside for one night and our time there could not have been over fast enough. Upon arrival, we noticed that... more
