If you only visit one Roof-top bar in Rome it has to be the Hotel Gladiatori with the most fantastic view of the Colosseum and directly below the bar is the ruins of theGladiator's School. The barman is also very friendly and knowledgeable on the Colosseum's history. more

The Gladiatore is a very small hotel but has a lovely feeling of luxuriousness as you walk in! The staff are very friendly and helpful and were quick to provide maps and suggest eating places. We had upgraded to Colloseum view 'deluxe' rooms - the size of the rooms were worth the extra cost, but the view was a bit... more

I spent five lovely days at the Hotel Gladiatori in early May 2009 and highly recommend it. The guest rooms and bathrooms rooms are large even by American standards, and they are very well appointed, with lots of marble throughout, fluffy towels, and an amazingly comfortable bed. The staff was warm and incredibly helpful, most speaking at least three languages.... more

This property was a pleasant surprise. I considered higher end hotels closer to the Vatican and Spanish Steps area but logistically decided to be closest to another main attraction - The Coliseum. The Hotel provides quick - reliable taxicabs (at guest expense) which I used for trips to the Vatican and returning to the Airport. Utilizing the 20 euro per... more

We have just return from a 5 night stay at the Hotel Gladiatori. The website pictures are accurate as the spectacular view from the hotel of the colisseum and gladiator training facility. It was wonderful to start each day with breakfast on the roof with the amazing view. The staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged for airport... more

We stayed at the Gladiatori for 3 nights and highly recommend this hotel. It's a boutique, small hotel (17 rooms) on 4 floors. Our room (#31) was great - comfy bed, plenty of room, beautiful bathroom, very clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The windows open up to a view of the park that houses Nero's Domus... more

We are so happy that we chose the Gladiatori for the venue for our wedding. The roof top gardens were simply PERFECT, photographs simply do not do it justice. The food was superb, the location amazing(there are ruins next to the hotel that are the lodgings for the gladiators), the scenery magnificent and the rooms wonderful! But the best 'til... more

My fiance and I have just come back from 3 nights at the Hotel Gladiatori. I will recomend this hotel to all of my friends and family. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was so comfortable that I had to have a nap every day just to make the most of it! There have been a... more
