Traveler’s nightmare. We had reservations 6 months before arriving and when we got to Rome and after traveling all night when we got there they would only honor our reservation if we gave them an extra $200 a night (for nine nights.) We just returned from 10 days in Rome, and we found The Palms to be basically comfortable and clean. Although we were a far distance from the tourist areas, a train station is a five minute walk away, and the neighborhood offers shopping and restaurants. The owner, Sergio, is kind and very helpful.
