This is really a mixed review in that I think the location is not good for tourists; however, the accommodations and staff were quite nice (especially for 125 euros/night in Rome). If you are considering staying here, I suggest that you purchase/view a map of Rome (then use mapquest or something like it) and see exactly where it is before... more

We stayed at Boncompagni during Easter Week, the most expensive time to stay in Rome! We were attending a family wedding, the church was just off Via Veneto so I began looking for accommodation in the area. Some of our relations/friends stayed in 3* hotels in the area at a cost of €350 per night (compared to our €110 per... more

We stayed here with our 5 year old daughter for a week (too short!) and had a great time (and loved Rome). I think our room was 111, and it was plain but tasteful, clean and spacious; there was both a single bed (which folds out from a chair) and a crib for our daughter (she slept in the bed... more

My husband and I stayed in Boncompagni Suite for 5 nights. The location is perfect, it is close to all the main sights and transportation. The neighborhood is nice, just far enough from the busy tourist areas, but close enough to walk. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Our next trip to Roma will... more

We stayed 4 nights and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room (room 111) was a good size, clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The windows open and were double glazed so that when shut traffic noise is virtually eliminated. Overall a little haven to come back to after a hard day of touristing. Some pretty minor niggles: we ordered... more

We stayed at the Boncompagni as part of our Italian holiday for 2 nights while in Rome. My husband and I stayed in Room 115 (I think) which was right behind the front desk. This b&b was spotless and modern. It is in a convenient location only a few blocks from all the main attractions (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, great... more

We are a family of 4 just returned from a month in Italy. We began our trip with 2 nights in Rome at the Boncompagni. We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite which served our needs perfectly as we slept off jet lag in Rome! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very, very clean. And the... more

Boncompagni suite is good value for your money. If you want to stay next to the sights, in a noisy crowded area, this is not for you. But if you want a pleasant stay in a peaceful area next to the atmosphere of classic Via Veneto, this is the place for your. Our room was nice, soundproof, good size with... more

Without a doubt the best located B&B in Rome (just off Via Veneto near to the US Embassy & short walks to Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Trevi and HEAPS of the best shops and restaurants). Recently renovated 1st floor accommodations of highest quality in quiet tree lined street with Romes great bus system within 150 meters to go off exploring... more
