i was in two minds about booking this review due to some negative feedback i found on the net, but i found a good deal and booked it anyway and i am so glad i did!the hotel is tucked away just off a main road opposite Rom's 3rd university so parking at weekends is not a problem at all, although... more

We stayed at Saint Paul in february, and the reason we chose it was because I had read the positive reviews from Tripadvisor. I'm glad I did! The hotel was very clean, the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small but tidy. Lovely bathroom! Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit etc. Only negative thing: our... more

I stayed here with my family for three nights in March, and overall it was a postive experience. The hotel has a just-renovated feel and everything is sleek and minimalist. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean, if a little small. The breakfast was also fine with a good selection of cereal, breads, fruit etc provided. My... more

We stayed inn the hotel in the begining of April, 2007. The pros: 1. The hotel is actually renewed, ordinary, 5-6 floors, building adopted for the hotel; the rooms are new and clean. 2. 10-15 minutes walk to the metro; 3. Lower than usual level of city noise; 4. Helpful staff; 5. Breakfast: non-continental, with a good level of meals... more

We had a most enjoyable stay in the St Paul over Easter. I chose it because it was great value, particularly as I was looking for a room for 3 people. The rooms are small but "as new" clean and well equiped with toiletries etc. The location is quiet, overlooking a campus of the University of Rome, and although the... more

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to Rome. After reading all the reviews on Saint Paul, felt we needed to just point out that it is quite a bit further out of Rome than we had expected. It was a 10 minute walk to the metro and then about 20 minutes on the metro. The bus took about... more

Nice and clean hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff. They also have free internet access. A little hard to find, if you are not familiar with the vicinity. Do use the San Paolo Metro station and walk to the hotel (10 min - see previous review). As an alternative method of transport, use the busses (no. 170 to Termini... more

Little out of town but would definately use again. An excellent clean and welcoming hotel, roomy with great modern spotless bathroom. A ten minute walk to Sao Paolo Metro Station and then a ten minute ride to the city. Metro trains efficient and cheap. We bought a 3 day ticket for 11 euros, great value. To get to the Hotel... more
