Dreadful hotel - nothing like photos on their website. Stayed here for 1 night and it was 1 too many. Room dirty, smelly, noisy. Shower didn't work. Bed was old and uncomfortable. DO NOT stay here. I am not that fussy, honest, but this place is awful. more

Dont stay here, worse place ever!!! Rooms so small, lights went out and we flew out of the window! View was of a concrete quadrant of the other hotel rooms. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen and be warned the hotel website pictures must have been taken from another hotel as there were 6 of us in three... more

Indeed, the real hotel cannot be compared with the pictures on its website... We stayed for 2 nights in a big but smelly room on the fourth floor, street side. The traffic was noisy, but reasonable. In our opinion the staff was not rude, but also not very friendly. They understood and spoke English better than we do Italian. The... more

This hotel is certainly for those at the budget end, i.e. those who come on holiday wanting a hotel to be a base rather than to spend the holiday in the hotel itself. We paid 120 Euros for the room, which is pretty good for a central location of a major European capital city. The hotel is bizarrely on alternate... more

I was suprised by how the small the room was (two people could not walk side by side in the room). The staff was pleasant, but i did request a wake up call and never received it. It is a decent location from the train station. I booked this hotel at the last minute on the last night of my... more

By 2 star Italian standards this is ok. The rooms we had were smaller and darker and shabbier than the ones on the website, but they would have been a bargain. The pictures were probably of their best rooms when newly refurbished and professionally lit! Altavilla is quite near Terminale railway station but is in a street with lots of... more

Our room looked nothing like the pictures on the website: it was tiny, taller than it was wide, with barely enough room to fit a double bed and desk. The walls were painted a tacky powder blue, nothing like the light, airy room we were expecting from their pictures, and the television was bolted high up in the corner like... more

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for three nights for approx £80 each for all three nights, so quite cheap to book through the web site in advance. Good Points - Decent location, pleasant breakfast, very quiet and some staff friendly and helpful. Bad Points - My room was a little dirty and dingy. The shower leaked more water onto... more
