The hotel itself appeared nice, but had ants and wasnt cleaned very well. Shuttle service was alright, the only bad thing was the time scheduling for it. Staff was rude (Marco in particular) to both my boyfriend and I making us feel uncomfortable to even ask questions. When we did talk with them they seemed to dance around the questions... More

When you arrive on Hotel Piccolo Borgo at Rome for the first time, you think: what's happen? I'm booking this hotel? Yes you booking. After you go to your room, is more like a small house... If you want stay sometime on lobby, they have a good and comfortable room, with comfortable atmosphere and sofas and also a big TV.

Just arrived back from our holiday. The hotel was lovely. Staff friendly and rooms spacious and clean. The shuttle bus runs to the metro station and connects well with the metro trains which seem to run every 2 minutes to the Terminus. Once you get your bearings it is easy to see that there are only 2 metro lines A... More

After reading reviews on this hotel and seeing little criticism other than the location, and seeing other small and dingy hotels on offer nearer the centre at the same price, I went and booked a room through the hotel website as it was cheaper. The location is a 25 min walk from cinecitta metro station, or a 10 min walk... More

Even though a free shuttle is provided for the metro we were not informed that the first would not run until 8.45am. After booking a tour for 9 am (which was reasonable)we were 15euro out of pocket for a taxi to the metro to ensure that we reached our tour as scheduled. Communication of reception staff poor, even to the... More

The bus shuttle from the hotel to the nearest subway station is a necessity, but goes rather often and is very comfortable. Beware, that the stop of the bus is in the direction to the center of Rome not in the direction to the hotel. It takes approx 45 minutes (bus shuttle + subway) to get to the center of... More

My wife and I spent 4 perfect days in suite with whirlpool in this excellent hotel in Rome, beginning of April 2013. The hotel location is a little farther away from city center, but it turned out not to be a big problem. Free shuttle is provided by hotel and with Metro center is just some 25 minutes away. WiFi... Immaculately clean. Excellent value for money. Superb variety for breakfast. Free shuttle from the hotel to the Metro was a great way to explore Rome without staying in an expensive and noisy city centre hotel. Very quiet at night so a good nights sleep was had by all - essential for a busy sight-seeing itinerary. Our first visit to Rome... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the location was fine. It is quite a distance from Rome centre, but there is a free shuttle service to Cinecitta station (2nd to last metro station on the A line south bound). It generally takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the centre of Rome, which was not a problem for... More
