Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good location with nice café and great restaurant 50m away, great city view 100m away. Nice hotel not overly luxurious, but perfect for a rugby trip with friends. Friendly staff. Good breakfast (for Italy). Easy downhill walk to Trastevere and about 30 min walk from city centre.

This is a little piece of quiet between Trasteve and Vatican City, in a rather "non-touristy" part of Rome. Very Clean, upscale, and welcoming, with exceptionally good dinner menu and service. If we could change anything, it would be to have a larger lobby to provide space to actually read, relax, or visit with fellow travelers. In warmer weather, the open grounds and pool patio likely serve this purpose. As long as you are comfortable using taxis or Uber, for movement around Rome, this is an excellent choice. But a long walk, in a hilly area, to central Rome. FYI: We never waited more than 5 minutes for Uber or a Taxi from this hotel. And a reasonable 2km walk to the Roma S. Pietro train depot, along with public bus routes nearby, for lovers of local transit exploring.

We recently stayed here for a few nights. Like most Rome hotels the rooms are about 15M2 and may be considered small, however, on the basis that you will probably only sleep there, the size is ok. The staff are friendly and very helpful, all staff. Good breakfast, nice pools and just an overall pleasant environment have no hesitation in recommending the hotel

A perfect base to explore Rome and surrounding area. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our days relaxing by the pool before heading out to Rome. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. They are well maintained and nothing is shabby. Will definitely return.

Hotel was fantastic, friendly staff upon arrival. Big outdoor pool. Room had a good view as well as the rooftop breakfast area. Room was cleaned everyday with waters and toiletries stocked up. There was plenty of parking on the street outside the hotel which was free, so didn’t need to worry about getting a space.

This is a lovely hotel, slightly outside of central Rome. It is an ideal place to stay when the weather is warm, both for the gorgeous swimming pool and the breezy rooftop breakfast area. The staff are friendly, efficient, and work extremely hard. The neighborhood location means restaurants are excellent and off the tourist path. Particularly recommend Lumie de Sicilia, 5 minutes away, for wonderful food and hospitality! This is an all around great hotel option in Rome.

My family and I stayed (husband and 2 teenagers) at this hotel for 2 nights on our way back from the Amalfi Coast. We had two rooms. The hotel is close to the Vatican and Trastevere. Breakfast is served upstairs in their rooftop bar/patio, which has beautiful views. The pool is amazing especially after walking around Rome in the heat. Specifics: The rooms are small which is typical of Rome. This is an older hotel. The lock in one of our rooms didn’t close so the housekeeper just walked in while my daughter was sleeping. Nothing was done when I mentioned it. The a/c would not go down from 25 degrees Celsius or 77 degrees Fahrenheit even though we kept adjusting it. We went to the reception and they told us they switched it manually to 21 degrees or 69. It never went down to 69. If you take the key out of the keypad the a/c stops running so do yourself a favor and leave a key in at all times. Breakfast is ok. The food in Italy is AMAZING! Of the three hotels we stayed at in our two weeks in Italy, this one had the lower end/quality breakfast. Not terrible but not the best either. The pool truly made our stay. It is big and clean. There is a bar and you can charge water, soft drinks, or alcoholic beverages to your room. It was never super crowded while we were there. There are changing rooms and restrooms right there. An attendant provides you with towels. The staff is nice. They try to help you out. I want to send a shout out to Beatrice who was wonderful. She really took the time to answer all of our questions, help us out with transportation/taxis, etc. Thank you Beatrice! Overall, not a bad hotel for a few nights. The pool really is the key to this place. If you want a hotel away from the hustle and bustle then this hotel could work for you. However, if you want to have tons of stores, restaurants, etc, within 5 minutes of the hotel you want to stay elsewhere.

If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas in centro yet want to still be relatively close to the heart of Rome, I recommend this hotel. It is affordable, comfortable, is close to the spot with the best views of the city ( Belvedere del Gianicolo) and, best yet, is one of the few places within a reasonable price range that offers a swimming pool. It is perfect for couples or families with children.
