I stayed for a night....our room was not ready at 11 am so we were politely asked to wait..but seeing the room we were happy and found it worth..it was clean decorated and tidy... the entrance is a bit rusty , the lift shaky but hotel is good enough....The staff was helping and the lady at breakfast table was a... more

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights and it was very nice experience. The room was decorated beautifully and the breakfast was lovely. Sometimes you could here voices from the corridor quite easily and there wasn't much english tv-channels, but we didn't come to Rome to watch tv. It was easy to walk to the main sights and... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Albergo Piave for six nights (from July 29-Aug. 3) during our recent stay in Rome. For the money, I can't imagine a nicer, cleaner hotel in a comparable area of Rome. The Albergo Piave is a bit off the beaten path (at 14 Via Piave), but it is near-enough to anywhere one might... more

May 2007. Reserved for 2 rooms with twin beds for 4 adults. Got only 2 queen beds, one bed in each room. In fact, the 11 rooms of this hotel are too small to have 2 twin beds in the rooms. 130 euro per room per day, breakfast included. Bed is a little soft for older American travelers. Asked for... more

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is a little far from Termini so it is very safe and quiet, but there are still many restaurants, cafés and shops near. The room was neat and cozy: simple but beautiful decoration. The only negative thing was that the shower was leaking and the shower doors couldn't perfectly close. (Beware of the rope... more

A little tricky to find, but a very nice hotel. The rooms were newly updated and decorated. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good, as it was off the beaten path, but still close enough to walk or metro anywhere you want to go. Overall, a great value. more

This was a good hotel for the budget conscious traveller. The rooms are small but nicely decorated with private bathroom and all kept spotlessly clean. Don't be put off by the entrance to the Hotel. You have to go up on a antiquated lift to reach the Hotel but once inside you are greeted by friendly staff. The breakfast was... more

My husband, 2-year old son and myself stayed at the Albergo Piave for 4 nights, from the 24 to the 28 of September. The rooms are rather cosy, and that's the only negative thing I can say about this hotel. We were treated extremely well by all members of staff, including Tomaso the owner, Patrizia, Giorgio and his family and... more

The better thing about our staying in Rome. The city is nice and charming, but dark and dangerous-looking too, and very hot in August. We wanted everyday to go back to the hotel, where we were really comfortable. Nice people (not usual in Rome), enough breakfast, all clean and new, good conditioned. The best part of Rome, hehehe. It wasn't as... more

This hotel is very clean, in a good location and offers a decent breakfast. The only problem that we had with our stay was with the owner Thomas. We had booked the room for 80 Euro per night and when we arrived he tried to scam an extra 5 Euro per night by saying that we had booked the room... more
