We have just come from a short visit to Rome and loved the Hotel Villa Rosa. It was absolutely clean towels, sheets and all. The staff were very helpful and all spoke good english. Breakfast was good but could have been alittle more varied. But on the whole it was a good stay and we will surely return to it.... more

Stayed on two occasions this year at the villa rosa hotel. Each time I was very happy. The location is pretty convenient with the tram, several buses and the trastevere station 3 minutes away. The room are a little bit small but very clean, the AC is working fine. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is good.... more

This place is OK. The room we had was 2 single beds, and too small for them, we had to move them apart for actual sleeping. The shower would have been a squeeze for someone of more generous dimensions. The aircon was fine, and needed to be as our room overlooked Giancolense, where emergency vehicles seemed to be up and... more

Having seen previous reviews of this hotel, I was fearing the worst. No need. The hotel is clean, bright, fresh and appealing. The staff were friendly and helpful and more than willing to point you in the right direction to good restaurants/public transport and off the beaten track places of interest. The breakfast was excellent and the waiting staff were... more

This hotel is something of a mixed bag, but overall quite satisfactory and so long as the issues described below are not a problem for a particular guest, we'd recommend this hotel. (We stayed here on 2 separate occasions in the space of a week.) Our first room was OK; bathroom was excellent. However, one of the 2 single matresses... more

We have just returned from 5 days stay at VILLA Rosa-Rome. Location- Aprox. 250 meters from the Tarstevere station, it's important when a taxi from the airport costs 50 E. (only 5.5 E by train). Aprox. 100 meters from Tram 8 and major bus lines. A bit noisy at night (try to ask for rooms at the back). The hotel... more

We had some really bad experiences with hotels in Rome, but this one was far from bad. I think it was a little too far from the city, but there are trams outside the hotel regulary, or its a 20 mins walk. For the money we paid it was good value. The room was new, clean, abit small, had flat... more

We have just returned from our short vacation from Rome. We spent 3 nights at Villa Rosa and have to say, it was one of the worst experiance in my life staying in this hotel! The rooms were more or less Ok - 3 stars category, clean, but the staff! Unbelievable! The scruffy receptionist by check in was so rude,... more

I booked into the Villa Rosa hotel before reading the posted message "Villa Nightmare". I have to say I don't understand what some people want for there money! The hotel was clean efficient and the staff were friendly and definately no bad smells! A Good breakfast was provided and parking (although limited was fine). I was staying with three friends... more

I enjoyed my stay at the Villa Rosa very much. Though small, my room was comfortable and quite clean. Fresh linens arrived daily with the maid service. The hotel staff seemed pleasant, and the group I was traveling with was especially fond of the waiter in the hotel restaurant. more
