I traveled with 4 friends and stayed in their triple room. The triple room was spacious for 3 people with balcony. Bathroom is large. Close to city center and accessible by train and bus. Having free access to internet is a plus. We liked our stay in Rome so much, thanks to the accommodating and friendly staff. I have book... more

We spent two nights at the Principe Eugenio, and were pleasantly surprised. The area may look a bit dodgy, but we never felt uneasy on the streets. It is close to the Termini and to the Metro, and we walked to the Coloseum in 15 minutes or less. The rooms are clean, the family running the place are friendly and... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily. The room we got (with no balcony) was spacious with a very large bathroom. Everything was clean and new. The owner was very friendly and helped with everything. You have to ring a bell and get through 2 large doors in order to... more

I generally only stay in Rick Steves hotels when I am in Europe because I have found his recommendations to be very reliable. For my trip to Rome in October 2009, all the Rick Steves hotels either had no vacancies or were too expensive. I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a hotel based solely on the Tripadvisor ratings.... more

We stayed int his hotel for 2 nights after retuning froma crusie and having our initial b and b already booked. The owners were fantastically friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast served. Lovely room with balcony overlooking the street complete with a large bath, huge wardrobe and mini- fridge made up the accommodations. the hotel had a great location- across from... more

I stayed here for 4 nights in Oct,09. I travelled by myself for an exam to take. This is a small hotel, run by a very sweet family, who did everything to answer all of my questions and help in any possible way with anything. It was very clean, my room was very spacious, and bathroom was great. Nothing luxurious,... more

I just got back from Rome and stayed at this well managed hotel from Sept. 24-30th. It is not far from the termini and from the hotel itself, it's about a 15 min. walk to the colleseum. The breakfast may be the typical european type; however, after hearing from other travellers I've met, their description of the hotels breakfast they... more

In spite of the seemingly seedy location and appearance of the entrance, this hotel is really a great find. Once on the hotel floor (to North Americans this would be the second floor) the place is very well kept, clean, and the owers (presumably husband and wife) made every effort to make us comfortable. Language more Italian than English, but... more

Thought I'd done this review earlier: this was a very nice surprise in a neighborhood we didn't initially consider. We stayed near the Vatican and then left for Florence and knew we wanted something closer to the train station before our departure. My husband gave me the seriously raised eyebrow when we arrived as the taxi driver couldn't find it...there... more
