We will be checking out tomorrow and we loved the room and location. I would highly recommend. The bathroom and room size is very spacious. The window and bistro set make the room even more special. The staff is very helpful. Some reviews said it was complicated to find but we used our iPhone and it was a sinch. We... More

I decided to stay in this hotel because of it's location. Of course the reviews on TA helped a lot. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. There are so many nice restaurants around this area. You can easily walk to Colosseum and all historical sites in Rome. Wifi signal was strong and I had no problem using... More

Friendly, helpful staff. Great breads, juice and wine in room. Great room and bathroom size. Beds really hard, but not different then any other bed that we slept in in Italy. Great location. Walked to all sites, except took train to Vatican.

Excellent location. Midway between the Colosseum and the railway station Despite the very central location, Via Urbana itself is relatively quiet. The narrow cobbled street has several decent restuarants. The 'hotel' is actually on the first floor, accessed by a tiny lift, or a stylish white marble staircase. The rooms are, in fact, small apartments. Everything is clean and well... More

This hotel is in an excellent location. Be prepared it is not a standard hotel in that it doesn't really have a lobby or reception. It is more like vacation apartments. We had an issue where they gave us the wrong room. It was awkward but the gentleman did bring us a bottle of wine as a way of saying... More

This hotel is very well located, close to Rome's main train station (from where buses/trains run to both airports), very close to the metro station and walking distance to Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It occupies two floors of a residential neo - classical building. The rooms are beautifully furnished, not big, but comfortable and clean. Every morning the hotel... More

Yes, hard to find the first time without a big sign hanging out into the street, but we used the big green HOTEL sign across the road as our landmark. Grab a hotel business card an hand it to your taxi driver, they all found it without difficulty, and the nearby Church of Santa Maria Maggiore is an easy landmark.... More

The staff were so helpful, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast provided daily consisting of fresh pastries and rolls in paper bags in a hanging basket next to our door. Free WiFi which was needed. Good location and not in such a touristy hotspot so you get to live like locals a bit. Would definitely recommend and use this place again.

With no sign outside, the Aenea could be hard to find - thank God! Otherwise it would inevitably be busier. Clean, small and friendly, it is a quiet refuge from the busyness outside. Rooms are well maintained and breakfast is provided with a range of fresh bakery and biscuits, etc. Position is ideal - walking distance from Termini and near... More

We enjoyed our stay, friendly, helpful staff that went out of their way to ensure we knew how to get around Rome, suggested sites, suggested restaurants, allowed us to use their computer....the list goes on. Very authentic experience, different than a North American hotel. Recommended.
