Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent place. Outstanding staff. Centrally located. Fast accessibility to all places of interest. Fresh breakfast every morning. Taxi and bus service right from the hotel. Shops and dinning within walking distance.

This place is very dirty. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in years. Not walking distance to anything. I’m not that picky when traveling alone but this is really far from OK standard. It looks alright coming in through the lobby but the actual buildings with the rooms are run down and dirty. Really poor quality of towels (not even towel material, it’s more like a table cloth). I’m not even sure what to say about the stained bedsheets (see pictures). There was only one (1) power outlet in the entire room. If I really try to find something positive to say it would be that the receptionist was nice and that there is aircon in the room and it is working. Stay well clear of this place.

This hotel on first appearance has a beautiful reception, all rooms are outside hotel, no lifts. Rooms are cleaned every day. Courtyard is beautiful. Staff are friendly enough. Hallways are so DIRTY i don't think they have been hovered in years, dirt dust stains all over a very poor quality carpet. 7 of us travelled together, all had our own rooms, most had problems. I have tea towels in my room for towel and shower didn't work, was fixed next day. some the doors would not open with key so had to keep going back to reception. No air conditioning in May. Lights not working in bathroom, safe not opening ect. Breakfast was good. We got taxis the whole time, €20 into the centre, very far out.

Location is not within walking distance to anything. Close to the Vatican (by auto or bus). Good rooms and well maintained. Snack/coffee bar and small gift shop. Great food- lots to choose from for breakfast.

Been there in several occasion in march, for business reasons. PLUS + Big location (perfect for big group of people), with a very nice open air garden where to relax. + 10 mins foot from underground train, and close to Bus transportation. + bar opens until 11pm + some nice restaurant nearby (see my review on tripadv). MINUS Small Rooms Breakfast below expectation (cappuccino choice not working).

Was annoying have to drag all my bags up the old flights of steps but hey it was quiet and clean so who cares. The rooms are quite dated but the essentials are there. This hotel is very good if you only intend to sleep here and spend your day in Venice. The restaurant is simple but the ham and cheese toastie was pretty damn good.

The hotel is far away from the centre; there's no comfortable transport. The rooms are basic, small and dark. It offers only breakfast, nothing to eat for lunch and dinner in the zone. The breakfast is also very basic. In fact there's nothing to highlight for this place. Definitely, for your visit to Rome is better to look for another option.

The hotel is located out of the city and is extremely quiet, which is great for excellent sleep quality. However, it is creepy that I had to walk in a long corridor with stained carpet and pass a dim corner (the light was not working) with a courtyard door that couldn't be locked. The carpet in front of the courtyard door is very dirty. The management has to look into the details. However, I was happy when the manager gave me a bigger room when the flush tank in my original room could not be repaired. Additionally, the breakfast is good and the dining hall is bright and very clean. Plus, the manager speaks good English.

We stayed here for 4 nights sept 2017 for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was very quiet and hardly any other people staying, which we enjoyed. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful although not all speak any English. The hotel reception is marble, lovely and clean and well presented. The room was small, 2 single beds, a wardrobe with safe, a desk with fridge and chair,a tv, free wifi, a bathroom with shower. That's it. Very basic but clean, beds changed every day, bins emptied and loo rolls topped up. Free toiletries in bathroom. Dining area for breakfast (they only do breakfast) is lovely, food was excellent and they allowed you to take some away in bag if you were going out for the day. Pastries, cold meats and cheese, bread, bacon, sausage and scrambled egg as well as fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals. Lots of juice and coffee machines with twinnings tea bags if you like your tea. Lovely old church on site, bus route outside the number 98 or 881 (cross to opposite side and walk down a little) takes you to the Vatican or across the river Tiber into the outskirts of Rome. Downsides; no food after breakfast, no drink making facilities in the room we had, (we stayed in instagram block). 2 single beds, there is one bar that serves alcohol, coffees, cold drinks etc and a few snacks, plus a small shop for gifts etc.

Overall it was a nice experience. Rooms are quite small and beds could be more comfortable, but the mood is relaxing. Food is not bad at all, but so simple that it might result deluding for a foreigner willing to tase italian cusine.
