Like the other people said, it's not really near the Rome's main attractions. So you would really need to rely on the transits and Metro. The room and washroom that we had were clean, the staff are quite polite to us, very business like more of. Best thing of this hotel in my opinion is their buffet breakfast. More

This place is not a hotel but a Conference Centre . It really does not cater to tourists at all. Unless your are port of the confrence group you are unable to have dinner in the restaurant. It is not really near the Vatican, you have to get a bus and then a metro. The nearest Metro station is not... More

I chose the hotel based on its proximity to the crown plaza - other friends had previously booked there so we needed to be close in order to travel together and see Rome. I can not recommend Domus Pacis hotel. Location is far enough out of the center of Rome (dont believe the 'Vatican' location) that you will take an... More

firstly we have stayed in many 3 star hotels. believe me this is sub standard. room was dark, mould on walls in bedroom, and bathroom filfthy very small shower. furniture in bedroom and around the hotel is old cheap and chipped. there are 250 rooms, but no iron in the hotel, no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, and you... We stayed at the Domus Pacis Torre Rossa hotel in Rome for 3 nights over the Easter weekend in April 2011. And i have to say, that after reading some of the scary reviews on here I was really worried - but i shouldn't have because the hotel was lovely. We arrived at 2pm in the afternoon and had an... I was really worried about the hotel because I'd read a few bad reviews here on tripadvisor. As my visit coincided with the beautification there weren't that many hotels with vacant rooms so we decided to go for it. I have to say I only have good things to say about the hotel. The room was clean, basic but with... More

The hotel is reasonably priced which justifies room size that is very small, a hardly working small TV with only German, Arabic and Italian channels, an extremely small shower cabin etc. but apart from an okay room that served its purpose which was having a place to sleep. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful although slightly arrogant and in... More

The hotel is reasonably priced, but the location isn't the best. It's a wee bit away from the nearest Metro station, which itself isn't too much of a problem, but if you are a pedestrian its not that easy getting across the road twice (because the pavement doesn't go the length of the road). Sometimes you've got to take your... More

I have to say that it seemed the majority of people in Rome (inc Hotel staff) had only one agenda - to rip tourists off! The hotel staff tried to persuede me to taka a taxi to airport at Euro 60 as they said a train would be Euro 12 each - we paid 1.3 Euro each for train ticket,... More

THE EMPOYEES. They are not well trained at all. They sell a service but a really bad service. I had a problem: I don't know how but my reservation was canceled even with all my payments done. As the hotel said, the problem was the travel agency, but the hotel didn't give us any help. All the problem need to... More
