We stayed in this hotel early May and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel has 14 rooms, so it is not crowded and you don't have trouble with other guests. The rooms were spacious and the bed was fantastic. We even had a jacuzzi in the bathroom! On occasion you have to cope with little space to put your... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in December, on arrival the hotel couldn’t find our booking, we had booked through Expedia, they did find it eventually, and were great while looking. We were shown to our room, it was lovely, but my husband had booked and upgrade as it was our anniversary and we were not given it, he called... More

This hotel can be difficult to find, and once you do, the name is not over the door. But once you know where it is, you will appreciate its location. In the high-traffic, noisy part of Rome, this is a quiet and peaceful little place. The staff is hard-working and extremely accomodating. We especially liked and appreciated William, the bellman/barman/do-everything-guy... More

First trip to Roma, Italy and I was expecting small hotel rooms, but there was plenty of space at this one. Two closets, king-size bed, large bathroom and a small balcony facing the courtyard. Unfortunately, the pigeons also made their home on the balcony, and could be very loud early in the morning. Thought it was kind of expensive though,... More

I feel guilty, as I have been meaning to write this review for some time. This is a stunning place, with a lovely roof garden right next to the forum in Rome. This is a luxury hotel in Rome, around e200 per night. It is worth every cent, if not more. When I return to Rome again, this is where... More

My wife and I just had a great stay here (4 nights) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It is in the heart of scenic Rome with easy walk to most sites. Very quaint and built on top of actual ruins that you can visit. The staff was very polite, professional and helpful and all spoke excellent English. The breakfast... More

This is a lovely little hotel ideally situated close to the centre of classical Rome in an area of narrow cobbled streets, a ten minutes walk from the Coliseum and the Forum. The hotel is actually built on top of Roman foundations and these can be viewed on request through a door near the reception area. Our deluxe room was... More

We just come back from this wonderful and magic Hotel. Honestly everything has been super. The Breakfast was so good, and our Deluxe Room was clean and perfect every day. Than how describe the amazing ruins just behind the Front Desk. Silvia explained us the history of this original Roman Cryptoporticus, is truly unbelievable to find something so incredible and...
