We stayed for 1 night on 20th May 2010 at approx EUR50/night with breakfast included (which is a trap, i'll detail later) and ensuite bathroom (terrible also) This hotel is an absolute nightmare for couples. I chose this hotel as it was affordable and near the termini as we had to catch an early train to Naples. Cons: - The... More

Sacrifice the location for something more quiet and hospitable. When we arrived at 9pm the man behind the counter acted like we were interrupting him. He was brusk when he did speak and didn't explain anything about how breakfast worked like a normal place that provides breakfast does. The towels were like sand paper, there wasn't any toilet paper in... More

Caput Mundi is very close to the train station Roma Termini, it is very comfortable, but, unfortunately, it is the only good thing about the hotel. Seriously, I couldn't have imagined that it would be like this. Let's start with bad points. The room was not cosy, tidy or comfortable. You could've seen dirt in it. Once I've seen the... More

Hotel really well located, but have to improve a lot. The first night we have to sleep in a room behind the reception, so the noise was awful and we couldn't sleep...the other 3 nights we sleep in a room that was OK... The pstaff as very helpful and friendly, but the structure of the hotel must be improve and... More

I do hope the owners of this hotel realise what a treasure they have in this impeccably dressed well mannered and most hepful receptionist who was a beacon of light in an overwhelmingly shabby but cheerful establishment. She would grace any one of the 5 star establishments anywhere in the world.in the world. She was the magnificent difference between a... More

We booked a room for five people, air conditioning, private bathroom. When we reached the hotel, asked to stay with our passports and not leave. We look forward to close the book and got on. When we reached the floor of the rooms, the maid told us that it had the room we had booked and gave us a room... More

This hotel is the perfect choice for those who wanna enjoy their staying in Rome for quite an appropriate sum of money! Ideal location of the hotel in the center of the city, pleasant and very polite receptionist, who speaks 3 ore more languages and always ready to give a helping hand, small but very comfortable rooms! So if you... More

Day 1 We arrived to find that we couldn't have the en-suite room we booked online because the previous occupant wanted to stay longer. We were offered one on the fifth floor with a shared bathroom, just for two days. It was 8pm so we accepted. The room had no bedside lights, no mirror and a TV that did not... More

Before booking the hotel I had read all comments on this web site, I must tell the truth I was afraid to book there. But I had no choice, as I needed a hotel in the centre and I didn't have much money. When I arrived in the hotel, a very friendly lady met me at the reception. She speaks... More
