Having stayed in Rome before I had braced myself for the worst staying in a small and not too expensive B&B - but was positively surprised. The hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever seen in Rome, the rooms were charming (and quiet) and staff was friendly, the free supply of water bottles an added bonus. Will happily... more

I come to Rome very often for business and I love to stay at SanJouan. The place is so charming and the atmosphere so nice and friendly that is difficult to choose another place to stay. Highly recommended! more

We arrived in the middle of a heat wave and woke up in the early hours, sweat running down our backs, to realize that the A/C came with a 5 hour timer. Also, the common areas where the plants grow so happily in all that humidity, are not air conditioned. This is where the lone ancient PC is set and... more

Clean, stylish, excellent and free access to Internet via WLAN, kind personnel, peaceful environment. Enjoyed my walk from Termini to San Jouan in a shade of trees, as well as the one afterwards to Colosseum and other great places in Rome. Very pleasant experience in San Jouan guest house. Hope to visit the place again. more

I just returned home from 4 lovely days in Rome and staying at the San Jouan just made it all perfect. It was close enough to the Colosseum (800 meters or so) that I could walk to it in about 10 minutes but the location of the San Jouan was far enough away from the center of the city that... more

We stayed in this "hidden Paradise" for 6 days, with our 2 kids in the suite with privat garden/terrace. We had plenty of space, very good beds, super silence, free internet was a surprice for the kids, the electric bus no 117 was just around the corner. The breakfast is not what we used to eat but it was everytime... more
