We could not have been treated nicer or better. After arriving in Rome, our luggage was missing. The nice ladies at the front desk (most notably Alessandria) were most helpfull. They called the airline many times and even submitted our clothing bill after we had to buy clothes. When the luggage finally showed up, it was in our room. The... more

This was an excellent base for a romantic getaway in Rome. The price was very reasonable, decor tasteful and modern and very clean. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from metro station and 20 minute walk from most major attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful - on checking in the receptionist showed us on a map where all... more

We booked this hotel having looked at possibly every hotel in Rome. We found we were met with loads of chintzy hotels and very expensive. We finally settled on tis hotel. It was without fail the best decision I made in 2006!!!!! It was stunning. We had a gorgeous room, that was very very very well apointed, great views and... more

Contemporary styling. A flight of stairs at entrance (no elevator). Mostly pleasant and helpful staff at reception. Problem: at night the entrance is locked and guests must be buzzed in. My first night in Rome, I went out for a drink and returned to be left out in the cold and rain for half an hour b/c the doorman was... more

Having not had a holiday this year was really looking forward to a relaxing 4 days in Rome... Oh how wrong can one be! The Opera Hotel is on Via National, one of the main roads in Rome, having said this we couldn't have asked for anything better. The hotel is small, has very friendly staff, is extremely clean and... more

We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Opera Hotel. It is very new and we feel that we were lucky to have found it. The rooms look EXACTLY as the pictures on the website show them to look. Simple, sleek, and modern is the feel, which was nice for a busy stay in Rome. The reception attendants were... more

Nice new hotel. Very small staff and breakfast is served daily in your room. Right on a main street and close to the subway station. I would highly recommend. For the money, it's a great find. It was exactly as pictured and there were no hidden fees or costs. more

We stayed at the Opera in September and had a great time. Ignore the bad comments - if you take the hotel for what it explains itself to be - it is excellent. No - there is no bar/ communal areas hence why it is 3 star and not 4 star. However, there is a member of staff on duty... more

My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel at the end of July as we were in Italy on our honeymoon. We were on the top floor (the fourth) and had a magnificent time. We had already stayed in 5 other hotels in Italy and this one was very beautiful and modern. I had the best sleep here!... more

We spent 3 nights in Rome at The Opera Hotel in mid July. This is a new boutique hotel right on via Nazionale nestled between retail stores. The hotel is small, only a hand full of rooms, with narrow corridors and lift. Our family of 4 stayed in a suite which consisted of two adjacent mid-size rooms. The rooms are... more
