Bought a package tour that included 3 nights here. Wasn't originally pleased with location and I was SO WRONG. Checking in early a.m. for my single, I asked for room w/bathtub which was quickly arranged. Room itself sparse but clean w/ample toilet amenities. Bar closed for remodeling. Breakfast was a vast offering w/many pastries, fruits, juices, 3 cereals, 2 yogurts,... more

Friendly welcoming reception staff, on arrival and without prompting, showed us the location of the hotel on a toursit map, told us how to visit the various sites etc. The triple we had booked was not available to us on arrival night but there was no problem changing to it the next day. Much more spacious and worth the small... more

This was a great little hotel that I found very conveinant to all the Rome has to offer. The subway is right outside the door which was like heaven after each long day of walking and touring. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good, but the best was being able to walk outside the door pay a dollar and... more

The Milton Roma provides a comfortable and convenient base when visiting Rome. Located in the eastern portion of the usual tourist area, it is across the street from a metro stop and only two stops from the termini where buses to all points can be boarded. An added plus is, when boarding a bus at the termini, you are at... more

Very good hotel at a convenient location (2 metro stations from Termini station, Manzoni metro station in front of the hotel, and 15-minute walk to the Coliseum). Rome hotels are overpriced, so even when this hotel was not cheap, it was very good in comparison to others. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. more

The Hotel Milton is in a great location, right across the street from the Manzoni metro station and is a good value for the money. It had a pretty good breakfast with lots of choices, and the rooms are spacious and clean. My only criticism was the night manager who was completely unhelpful. Couldn't get a blanket when the weather... more

This hotel was good and clean. Reception staff were really helpful and brekky was good. It is right on the metro (manzoni) stop and takes 10 mins on metro to get into city centre. 15 min bus to Trastervere. I would recommend unless you want to be in the heart of it although we never found it a problem being... more

This was a decent value for Rome, especially because we were able to get one night free through an Expedia promotion. Overall we were happy, but had a few quibbles. Pros: -Location. Right across the street from the Metro. -Accommodations. Nice, but not luxurious. Cons: -Service was uneven. One staff member was super nice and helpful; the night staff member... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Milton Roma for 4 nights in early September and loved this hotel. The hotel was perfectly located to get to all the tourist attractions by Metro....the Metro stop was directly across the street from the hotel! Our room was ample sized and clean....the ac worked just fine....one small complaint.....the half glass shower... more

I stayed at the Hotel Milton Roma for 3 nights in mid September. Pros: Close to the Metro stop. The ride takes two minutes. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Termini. Breakfast was great. It had a huge variety of the same things daily. AC works. The room I stayed in faces the courtyard and it was very quiet.... more
