We paid $130 per night and was here for 4 nights. It was a 15 min walk to the Coliseum, and the metro station was literally right across the street from the hotel. The hotel itself is a medium size boutique hotel with a breakfast cafe and a bar. After reading the reviews I specifically requested a room facing the... more

Hotel was very clean and obviously very recently modernised to a very good standard. Staff were 1st class - very pleasant, smartly dressed and very polite. All staff also spoke very good English. Location to metro was spot on and could not have been closer. Was not interested in bar or restaurant facilities so cannot really comment since I never... more

Hotel Milton has been my "home" in Rome 4 times. Via Emanuele Filiberto provides almost everything within reach. Among examples are the Manzoni subway entrance, a gelateria, a bar (Italian eatery), a pizza parlor, a grocery store, a dollar store where you can even purchase laundry detergent if you need to, a variety store where you can purchase tickets for... more

The hotel is very clean and very nicely set out and, compared to a lot of other hotels i looked at, is good value for money. The hotel was nice a peaceful at night and the staff were friendly although had limmitted english. The only real problem i had was that it bills itself as being walking distance from the... more

The staff were pleasant and they answered our questions about the city. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed was basic and the sheets seemed clean but the carpets were old and had water stains. The bathroom was basic but the shower didn't have a curtain that was long enough so the water got everywhere... more

I was just in Rome 7/11/09-7/13/09 and I stayed at the Hotel Milton which I must say it was a very good choice. I was looking for a nice hotel but reasonably priced and I found it. The room was a bit small but did the job, I really was only in the room to sleep. There was also a... more

I had an amazing stay here and really enjoyed it. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the room was far above my expectation. It was my first visit to the country and the receptionist Rosanna was amazing, she helped me through the maze of venues and what to do. She had such a smile on her and made me... more

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights, and for the price this hotel must be one of the best out there. All the good reviews about this place are spot on - good staff, rooms (except for the dodgy shower!), and breakfasts are a highlight! The receptionist moved us to a room facing the car park, which she did... more

Stayed at this hotel in July 2009. Excellent location. Metro right on the doorstep, ten minutes walk to the colosseum. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Bathroom was good slight problems with the shower soaking the bathroom each time you used it apart from that it was very good. Noise was a problem in the room we were in... more

From when my new wife and I arrived at Hotel Milton we were impressed by the warm welcome from the staff. when we got to our room at the back of the hotel we were just happy to get to our room due to delayed flights. The room was very clean with fresh towels and a bottle of Champagne and... more
