After reading bad reviews both before and after our trip, I thought I would add to the opinions. Really great location if going through Termini Station, and also good for the subway (easy to navigate). We walked a lot, and took the subway for longer trips. When checking in, I asked for a room on the top floor, and got... more

Booked hotel Impero on a hotel website after reading good reviews on trip advisor. All i can say is that they must have been staying in a different hotel. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and know what to expect in a middle priced hotel in a major city, so didnt have very high expectations, but even then was... more

Excellent location and easy to find from Station Termini. Nice looking from outside and in lobby. Rooms on the small side and bathroom had sewer smells daily. Maid left the door to our room open when finished cleaning and although nothing missing it wasn't a nice feeling to come back to (girls alone!), Management didn't seem too concerned. Reception and... more

Having read all the reviews we were a little worried, however I think that some people forget that you get what you pay for. As 2 students looking for a bargain but used to cheap 4/5* hotels from friends working within the industry we were wondering what to expect from a 3* in the centre of Rome. Yes it was... more

This hotel is very centrally positioned and great for tourists. The hotel is a smaller establishment with one smallish lift that may require a couple of trips if you have largish bags. The room was clean and well heated. The bathroom had been recently re done and was superb...well except for the size of the shower. This shower was made... more

We stayed here one night pre cruise on the Queen Victoria. Booked by travel agent. Having read so many recent poor reviews we seriously considered staying elsewhere and forgetting the cost. We were glad we went - friendly, helpful reception, lovely room with city views, perhaps a bit small but others had large rooms. Everything clean, and in working order,... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in Nov 08 on a weekend trip to Rome. We chose the hotel because we needed a triple room and when I did an internet search, it came up and had a great price and was in a very central location - we couldnt believe our luck! It was ideal for the train station... more

Although the hotel was in a pretty good area as far as getting around (close to the train station, the opera, and within walking distance of all the big sights) the hotel was pretty miserable. Rome was our third stop on a 2 week tour of Europe and although our room was pretty big, it had a pretty bad smell... more

Me and my family spent there a full week in October. We stayed on the 3rd floor at room 326 with a nice view to the Opera and just a few minutes from Termini station. The good thing is the convenience it offers you to reach the sightseeings and that you can walk up and down Nazionale str. to browse... more

Needs lessons in customer service, day manager very rude, I slipped and fell on a wet floor (cleaning the entrance to dining room at breakfast time with no warning signs) was told to be more careful. Breakfast - be down early or nothing left to eat or clean dishes, cutlery etc, rooms - shower trays overfill and flood - Beds... more
