The room is located a 5 minute walk from Termini station, and a 20-30 minute walk to the Coliseum/Forum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little sparse, but was large, clean, and had a private bath/shower with TV. The breakfast place was around the corner, but the owner there was quite friendly as well. Not... more

Serendipity is a wonderful hotel that is incredibly good value for money. Situated in a very handy location, approx 5 mins from Termini Station and short walking distance to many good cafes and restaurants. The hotel feels very secure, and the rooms were always kept pristine. Breakfast was good, with fresh local produce regularly brought in. Drinks facilities were not... more

Whether you arrive from Ciampino(Terravisionbus) or Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci express) airport- hotel is very easy to find. Out right from Termini- up via Marghera. At end you look right and see the big yellow building- very easy to find. Yes there is a main way to cross to get there- in Rome drivers do not know what these white... more

I really enjoyed my stay at Serendipity. The room was very large for European standards and even had a terrace where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The overall condition of the room was about average and the staff were definitely a cut above in terms of friendliness and hospitality. The hotel is centrally located and accessible by foot in less... more

This was the worst part of our trip to Italy and is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The manager was friendly upon our arrival but after our meeting with him, everything went downhill from there. The room we were given was dirty and had nasty stains all over the sheets and bedspread from the previous occupants. There was... more

We were very happy to be greeted with a bottle of water, and were pleasantly suprised when shown to our room. Our expectations had been pretty low, but the room was quite big (especially the bathroom), and clean. My first comment was "if this is the worst place we stay on this trip, we'll be doing OK". We found the... more

Picked this place because it is near to the station. It's about a 10 minute walk. Often the area around the station isn't so nice, but the location of the serendipity was quite nice. The room was quite big, very clean but the decor was average. We didn't have any problem with the lift (elevator) - I think what the... more

We just returned from a trip to Rome (end of October) with a week stay at this hotel. I guess I might stay there again (very nice staff); however, some things to note: [1] Although very close to the train station (about 5 blocks away), it was across a busy road (not what I would consider a "highway" as written... more

We were very skeptical when we arrived at this hotel. The surrounding area is alittle seedy and not very clean. We entered the gates and were greeted by Vivaldi who is Ricardo's cousin. We were so anxious to sit down and have something to eat or at least a cup of coffee. The coffee maker was broken..... We were shown... more

We were unsure as to what to expect when we researching places to stay in Rome, we found Serendipity to be cheap and comfortable. The rooms are REALLY BIG, the satelite TV offers over 200 channels some in English, AC worked well and the beds was actually comfortable. The building is very secure!! with lots of cameras. Its in an... more
