Room 2 - Situated on 5th floor. (The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor as the other floors are occupied by different hotels) I arrived with a party of Photography students on a field trip to Rome. The booking in procedure seemed to take hours and upon finally getting to our room it was 4 beds all jammed together... more

It was terrible! The rooms were really really small!! The I shared my bedroom with two other people and our beds had to be pushed together into one big bed to fit them into the tiny rooms! The shower was tiny and bearly worked! I was really disapointed with the Hotel! The Lift didnt work half the time and the... more

This hotel was terrible. There was 6 hotels in one building. Hotel max was on the 3rd floor and 5th floor. The elevator didn't work properly, there was cigarette butts on top of the elevator. It was disgusting. The hotel was health hazzard. The electricity on the 5th floor went off on the first night and there was no lights... more

The lift didnt work. To many stairs. The rooms were far to small. We couldnt open the door to the balcony, so therefore we couldnt get any fresh air into the rooms. There was no fire excape. They really had no consideration for health and saftey.. more

Max hotel is a very very small but pleasant hotel located very central and only 2 minutes walk from the Termini Station. I especially liked that the hotel was so close to Termini, and by the way only 5 min walk to Santa Maria Maggiore Church. I went there with my siblings, and it is very ideal for family vacation... more

My fiancé and I had a late arrival in Rome and early departure the next morning for Florence. We just needed a place to touch down for one night. That being said, Hotel Max is a great value for its location. Just about 1 block from Termini (train) station, right in the middle of Rome. The service and staff are... more

Las week, me and my girlfriend spent three nights at Hotel Max in Rome. We were a little bit worried when we booked the hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is literally a few steps form Termini station which saved us money for local transport. The distance from the city centre is also very comfortable (about 15 minutes... more

We stayed at the Max Hotel for 3 nights . Location was fantastic a 2-3 min walk to the Termini Station and there was a Train directly to and from airport for $11 each way so you dont have to use the metro.. 10 min walk to the Collosuem which was fantatstic. Also the hop on and off buses are... more

Having stayed at the Max hotel this month I would recommend it to anyone on a budget or not overly concerned with luxury. The hotel itself is in a great location just across the road from the main train station, Termini, (Look for The Hotel Scott House sign as it is in same building as the Max) and is within... more
