Rome is super expensive especially if you want a private room. Keeping this in mind I thought Hotel Cavour was a good deal. We paid 80 euro per night, which included breakfast but we shared bathroom facilities. Massimo is awesome and lifts the hotel from average to above average. I spent one night at this place on May 15th. The lobby and breakfast room were small but wonderfully air conditioned. Too bad my room air conditioner was not up to the same quality as the lobby. Because of the poor AC I did not get a good night’s sleep – but I did on my flight the next day.... more
