Our stay at Casa Giovy was EXCELLENT due to GIOVANNA. We stayed 3 nights. Located in walking distance, with wheeled luggage, from SAN PIETRO TRAIN STATION. I'm 66 years young. GIOVANNA told us where, when and how to get around plus where to eat. Do ST. PETERS around 5:00PM. Her help in a strange country and city made our experience... more

Casa Giovy was very simple but very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for accessing the city. The rates are very reasonable. We had a great stay there. Giovanna who owns the b and b was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly and helpful and overly accomodating to make our stay pleasurable. It is not a fancy... more

Great place although very basic but very clean and nicely presented. Giovanna who runs the place is lovely and very helpful. The only thing letting it down is that its a fairly noisy location, right by the train tracks but as you're out most of the time it isn't really a problem unless you're having an early night! Trains run... more

Casa Giovy was a pretty nice place. We did get a very warm, friendly welcome, a reasonable rate and a terrific location (right next door to the Vatican, reasonable walking distance to anywhere - we walked all the way over to the Colosseum without too much effort). The room was small and basic, but clean and comfortable, so if that's... more

GREAT LOCATION! WALKING DISTANCE FROM TRAIN, BUSES AND THE VATICAN CITY! My boyfriend and I stayed over for the holy week. This was our firt visit to this city. You only take 2 trains from the airport and then you walk to the bed & breakfast. The owner, fluent in English, is very charming and helpful with directions and local... more

Dear Tripadvisors…what do you want when you go to Rome ? A room with a view of the Trevi fountain? A hotel around the corner from the Spanish steps? A place where the bellboys are at your every beck and call??? If this is the kind of thing you want, Casagiovy is not for you.... However if you want a... more

We Arrived really late, and here was this nice nice lady waiting up for us. Rememeber she has to wake up really early in the morning because she has to take her children to school. Even let us used her washing machine in the middle of the night and waited up for them. Giovanna is the nicest bed & breakfast... more

We stayed here in the apartment over Christmas 2007 and had a wonderful time. We were very warmly welcomed on arrival and given maps and information as well as explanations on getting around etc. The apartment was very clean with modern facilities - kitchen, bathroom and large bedroom. Very spacious (bigger than our flat in London!) and an excellent location... more

Accommodation in rome is generally expensive, and it is a steal to find such nice rooms for under 100 euro/night. We stayed in the 'sunflower' room. it was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was a real queen size one, unlike many places in Italy where a double bed just means 2 beds pushed together. The complimentary toiletries was a... more

After reading all the lovely reviews on TripAdvisor I booked our room for our long awaited honeymoon in Italy. We're an older newlywed couple so we weren't exactly looking for the perfect romantic accomodation, but Giovanna met us at the door with a bottle of wine and a smile and we were very appreciative. Agree with the previous reviewer that... more
