We stayed here for three nights - we were initially thrown by the outer renovation work, but when inside it didn't disturb us at all. The staff were brilliant - we had left our passports in our previous hotel in Sperlonga, and the receptionist signed us in using our driving licences as ID and then phoned the previous hotel and... more

The Ivanhoe can't be beat for the location, and an inexpensive place to stay in Rome. The Front desk staff is extremely nice and very helpful. However, the rooms are tiny and cramped. After a long day of walking around Rome, the rock hard bed left a lot to be desired and walking into walls in the middle of the... more

My husband and I had a mini break in Rome in time to watch the UEFA championship. Although we were greatly saddened that our team did not win, we were delighted by the fact that Rome is such a beautiful city. Very interesting. It seemed that people through the years have molded their modern lives around the ancient structures of... more

This is a lovely little hotel located in a cobble street in a nice, buzzy area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby where you'll find mostly locals and therefore, amazing food.. The rooms are neat and pretty and big enough for comfort. A perfect continental breakfast is served downstairs with juices and fruits, cereals and pastries. Staff are Italian... more

This hotel was recommended to me through a mate for a good quality budget hotel. Although I wasn't going to be too fussy being in Rome for one night, the place was a lot better than I expected and I have stayed in a lot less appealing hotels calling themselves 3 star or higher. The room and decor was immaculate... more

After staying at the Villa Pamphili (see my other review) me and my husband for business, we moved hotel for our privat stay at Rome. We were adviced this hotel by a travel agent. Due to lack of time I was not able to check this site for reviews, but...below my findings. The hotel is the 3-star rating worth. Eventhough... more

This hotel is small and just a few blocks from the Colosseum and a metro station. When I say small I mean really small. I'm a 6'2" american weighing in at 220lbs and my main problem with this hotel is it's bath rooms - they are literally water closets. I first stayed in a room with a tub - probably... more
