Rome was our last stop on a 9-day whirlwind trip to Italy and it was so the icing on the cake. We absolutely loved the city and that had a lot to do with Trastevere and our stay at WRH. Maria, one of the owners (?) of WRH, emailed me a couple of weeks before our trip to find out... more

Just returned from a five day holiday in Rome. Chose to stay in Trastevere as we'd visited previously and really liked the area - very laid back, lots of good places to eat and very convenient for the city centre. We stayed at WRH Trastevere on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews - unusually for hotel reviews, nobody had a single... more

Without repeating all the praise already (deservedly) given here, I'd just say WRH has an excellent, friendly and competent staff -- which makes all the difference. Using their car service to get there is probably a good idea for a first visit, as the outside door can be hard to find (one taxi we got during our stay did not... more

I spent three nights in this hotel and I couldn't have had a better experience. The rooms are fantastic - very hip and modern, but most importantly clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful - they really made us feel at home and were so helpful in suggesting restaurants and other places to check-out. The location is perfect - Trastevere... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the WRH Trastevere for three nights in the beginning of November. The hotel doesn't have a desk staff 24 hours a day, so if you're planning on coming in before 8:30am or after 5:30pm you have to make arrangements in advance. We'd told the staff we'd be in by 3pm, but due to car... more

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Trastevere. It is nice to get out of the city center and stay in a part of Rome that feels more authentic. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Tiber and the #8 tram goes by constantly which takes you to Largo Argentina. The room was stayed in was nice.... more

My husband and I travelled to Italy for our honeymoon, completing our journey in Rome. When we planned our trip, we knew Rome would be busy (it was September, after all) and expensive so while we had splurged on more luxurious accommodations in other cities, we hoped to spend LESS during our three nights in Rome. On paper, the WRH... more

I reserved this hotel because of the good ratings on Trip Advisor and its reasonable price for Rome. I agree fully with the previous reviews. I traveled with my husband and daughter and her family which included two children, ages 7 and 10. The rooms were great. The common room was a good place to interact with family members and... more

Drive up to this hotel next to this unmarked building and you might worry you made a mistake. The hotel is basically a floor in a an apartment buidling, so it's looks are deceiving. Inside, very clean, very nice small room with A/C, great tiny bathrooms with modern, clean showers. Not a full service hotel, but what a great value... more
